Anyone on olaparib and the coc protocol?? Advice needed??

I'm on the COC protocol and am hoping to start Olaparib after this round of chemo for first recurrence. Did you want to know if the two can be combined? I asked my oncologist and she said yes, thanks, sticky3006

Thanks for your reply, yes I wondered if they could be combined. Have u had any side effects?? How have u managed with your food??

I've been on the COC protocol since May with no problems. I have my bloods checked regularly and also try and drink plenty of fluids. The consultant I saw at the Marsden was sceptical about the protocol as she said its not evidence based but now I'm taking them I think I'll probably carry on. The onc at the Marsden also said that if these drugs are so good then why am I having a recurrence, but maybe as I only started the protocol in May and my ca125 had already started to climb then it was too late. Who knows!! I think about and analyse these questions daily with no sensible answer! Good luck, sticky3006
