Hello All

We'd like to gather information about the experiences of forum members in Scotland around accessing PARP inhibitors and your views on their availability. This is because the Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) will be making their announcement in the next few weeks about olaparib availability. When this happens, Ovacome is usually asked for a response from the media, and we'd like to include our members' experiences and opinions as part of our response.

If any of you have experiences or comments surrounding access to these drugs that you'd be willing to share, please could you either comment below or send us a private message? We won't need any identifiable details such as your name or where you're being treated, if you'd prefer not to share these. We would update you as to the SMC decision once it was available. (We will also post about the decision in the forum as usual.)

If you have any queries please do get in touch either through the forum or call us on 0800 008 7054.

Thank you in advance for your help as always,

Best wishes

As far as I am aware, I would go on a PARP as maintainence after second line chemotherapy. It appears to be accessible in Glasgow. No other experience yet.
