Leg heaviness after first half Ocrevus
June 1 was my first half
Ocrevus
. Horrible reaction.. Canceled my second half that was scheduled for June 15. Discontinuing this drug. Has anybody had leg heaviness from this drug? I never had it before? It started today and it’s almost been 3 weeks.

Bad Ocrevus reaction
Today is two weeks exactly from my first half dose
Ocrevus
and this dizziness will not stop. My neurologist offered a course of steroids. I don’t understand how I try to take a medication to help me and it puts me into a relapse.

I was diagnosed in 2019 at age 50- Went to the hospital thinking I was having a stroke which turned out to be seizures, I was diagnosed with epilepsy and when I got an MRI is when they finally diagnosed me with RRMS- my neurologist quickly put me on
Ocrevus
and my MRI’s so far are stable ..

For once, a good change on the Neurologist front
Well, in January, I got my
Ocrevus
shot, seven hours after the insurance approval expired. Hospital ate that $100K bill. The old Neuro was a cold fish, asks no question, and ignores statements from me. Well, I finally was accepted by my original MS Neurologist again!

PPMS - hand stiffness
Ocrevus
, baclofen, tizanidine, Lyrica which produces some relief however, I have continued to decline in my function. The stiffness and curling/balling up in my hands is the real issue, does anyone know of any drug therapies (not that I trust big Pharma) that produce any relief? Many thanks!

How long does Solu-Medrol depress the immune system?
I have been messaging my neuro about so many things lately with my medication change from Tysabri to
Ocrevus
and 5 days of Solu-Medrol so I thought I’d see if any of you knew. Thanks! Jennifer

Vumerity to Ocrevus
(Still not sure of the ramifications) MD has ordered
Ocrevus
. Initially, I and my husband heard him state I would be off the Vumerity for a time, to get it out of my system & rebuild immunity.

Tysabri rebound - switching to Ocrevus
I’m interested in anyone’s experience switching to
Ocrevus
from Tysabri. Have read about “Tysabri rebound” and am quite concerned. Specifically, I’d love to hear what your timeline for the switch looked like and if you were given IV steroids in between.

Rituximab?
I was recommended by by physician to start with
Ocrevus
as my Ms has been diagnosed as ppms and
ocrevus
,i was told, is the most appropriate treatment to stop its deterioration. Since
ocrevus
is not available in this part of the world, the next best drug recommended was rituximab.

Toleration of colds
When I came back for the most part they seemed fine but my husband being the angel he is refused to kiss me knowing that
Ocrevus
kills my immunity. Or more specifically the B cells. (fighting cells) I wake up in the midst of the night a few days later.

Evusheld - Where to find it!
I have been on
Ocrevus
for three years which compromises my immune system. My neurologist has some available and I will be talking to them tomorrow morning. Here is a link to check each state and find out if is available in your city or surrounding cities. https://rrelyea.github.io/evusheld/?

Very Interesting Article about T-cell response to Vaccine for people on Ocrevus
I ran across this on my daily scroll scroll and I know this is something a lot of you worry about so I thought I would pass it along... https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamaneurology/fullarticle/2789588?guestAccessKey=cc36fb35-7ba3-4854-a390-e5473fe4f418&utm_source=silverchair&utm_campaign=jama_network

B cells coming back 🎉
18 mos after my last
Ocrevus
infusion my B cells are finally coming back. They were zero when checked at 9 and 11 and 13 mos after that last infusion. Now they are 1.7% My understanding is that they need to be at least 10% to. Mount any minimal response to a vax.

The Hospital where my doctor is called me and told me since I was on
Ocrevus
which is immunosuppressive that i am being offered to get this injection of antibodies to fight Covid. It is not FDA approved yet and I’ve asked my doctor what she thinks of it but I haven’t heard back yet.
