Ocrevus

Then an infusion of Ocrevus by the end of March. Can I expect any improvement in even a few symptoms? I need hope on the horizon, ya'll. My neurologist is a young, healthy, false eyelash kind of gal, who hasn't a clue how upside down MS makes one's life. Thanks!

my neurologist just texted me and told me,the ideal time to get the covid vaccine is 4 months after treatment,but you may take it 2 to4 weeks after treatment since there is limited supplys.take it as soon as you have access to it and if you are going to get it before treatment,perferably 2 to 4 weeks

There are general guidelines that apply to most, if not all, MS’ers and guidelines specific to those on B-cell depleting therapies like Rituxan and Ocrevus.

Has anyone had their Ocrevus infusion at home? How did it go?

I was the first person at the infusion center that had ever ask for it,i read about it 6 weeks ago. I called my dr. yesterday and ask him about it and he has to send orders to the infusioin center to get it.it does take 2 hours instead of 3 or 4.it was wonderful .it was 300 drips per minute instead of

I’m on Ocrevus and didn’t see any of this on it’s side effects.

For those of us on Ocrevus and who would like to take the vaccine for covid-19, there is very little information if it is safe for us. Since Ocrevus wipes out the B-cells and are immune system is comprised. Should we take the vaccine?

I’m now on Tecfidera since August 24th, MRI done in Nov that showed one active lesion an one non active and that’s why they wanted to do a quick change, of med to Ocrevus, but my thoughts were it didn’t seems like it was enough time to determine and start Ocrevus.

For those of you with similar negative experiences after Ocrevus, did symptoms improve when you stopped Ocrevus or did it just stay / progress? I'm scared it won't get better.

I just had my Ocrevus infusion last Tuesday and am scared about what will happen if I get Covid. I talked to my doctor who said to stay away from my husband, the best I can and wash my hands...a lot. Has anyone gotten Covid while on Ocrevus? What was the outcome?

During the visit my Dr informed me I would need to start Ocrevus instead Tecfidera after being on it for 3mths. Labs were drawn and faxed to office Nov 26th. I was advised they would be calling me or Ocrevus team.

First Ocrevus perfusion nest week! What should I bring with me? should I be scrared...

The physician speaker mentioned checking IgG levels at baseline and yearly with Ocrevus. My Neuro has not done this and I was wondering what others experiences were? Thanks!

I’ve been talking with my medical team about the Covid vaccine and it’s efficacy when you are on one of the B cell depleating DMT’s like Ocrevus or Rituxan. One of the team shared with me the info from a NMSS email that goes out to Clinicians not patients.

A year ago I tried Ocrevus but did not have a good experience with the infusion. Now I will be starting Kesimpta next week and was wondering if anyone is taking this and what if any kind of side effects you might be having?

I just want to thank everyone for their posts on their Ocrevus experience. I was dx'ed with SPMS in April but could not start the Ocrevus until August because of COVID. I was terrified. But after reading the posts, I felt very reassured.

With starting Solu Medrol continuing Tec until Ocrevus is started is a lot to digest in one conversation. Pls share your feedback. Thank you!
