Nuelin discontinued?
I have been on

175 tablets twice a day for a long time but now the dispensary at the practice says that they can no longer find a source for them. Is anyone else in the same position? If so, can you tell me what you were given as an alternative?

Has anyone on here tried Inulin?
Hello All I was reading about this soluble fibre the other day and was interested to find that Angela Rippon took it when she found out, as part of her research for the 'How to stay young' programme: that, although she has an enviable slim figure; she has (or had) a lot of visceral fat around her organs

Coconut Sugar for Diabetics...Is it a Healthy alternative?

Kefir Diary Update; Just a quick mention as I forgot. WHEN to take kefir to maximise it's benefits?? Ans. Half hour BEFORE food minimum.

Gluten free Shortbread biscuits with coconut sugar ☕️
Hi folks, I made some biscuits with pureed dates and was really pleased, so I looked for some date sugar but they only had coconut sugar. Whats interesting about coconut sugar is it contains inulin which helps probiotics to grow and flourish, so yes its still a sweetener and with calories but its an

High Fibre in the diet
I struggle to include the 30g of fibre that we are advised to eat daily. Last night I watched 'Food Unwrapped' where they filmed the Hadza tribe in Tanzania. These people apparently have 40% more good bacteria in their gut than the rest of the world because they consume on average, 150g of fibre!

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Butyric Acid, Butyrate, Sodium Butyrate - Butter
Not an easy subject, so apologies up-front. [1] If you have smelled rancid butter, you will be familiar with the smell of butyric acid. It can even be detected, at much lower levels, in freshly-bought butter. Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid found in butter in triglyceride form. With rancidity

Week 14
This week: weight change -0.25lbs waist change -1" 1920cal/day, 57min activity/day Hardly any weight change, but not surprising after last week's -5.5lb. Also this week I've eaten much more than previous weeks, I've been hungry. Great news about the 1" waist loss, I'd not lost anything off my waist for

Week 13
This week: weight change -5.5lbs waist change 0" 1748cal/day 117min/day activity A strange result, but I'm not complaining. I didn't do the gym because my knee was playing up. Just cycled to work nad did some stretches and weight at home each evening. I had lost all the weight by Saturday morning,
