I am due to fly in about 4 weeks. I have an injection of Nucala due when I am away. Wondering if this would be a problem at the airport scanning ?? Any help would be appreciated thanks

medication on holiday flight

I'd ask your team for a letter now saying that you're under their care, they prescribed the medication and you need to be able to take it with you in the cabin (and any other requirements eg if it should stay in a cool bag). Obviously make sure you let them know when you're travelling - I would think 4 weeks is enough notice.
I haven't travelled on planes with biologics, but I have travelled multiple times with an injection kit for adrenal insufficiency. I had a letter from the specialist nurse saying what it was and why I needed to be able to take it on board. I'd tell them at screening I had needles in my bag for medical reasons and they never actually asked to see the letter - but it was there if I did need to.

Great thanks. I’ll get on it now.
I've just flown with a Mounjaro injection pen in my hand luggage. No problems. I carry my prescription receipts with me for all my medications. My sharps box I carry in my hold luggage.
