Scared!
At the end of May, I had a massive stroke which ended with five and a.half of brain surgery as the bleed was in the 'third brain'. I then had brain decompression and finally high oxygen levels. After four lost months in hospital, followed by ongoing help, I am finally at home. Will I ever regain my confidence

Our story
I am a 34 year old wife and mother My family and I have been through a world wind of events to say I’m grateful we are together would be a gross understatement. This is my story, the one God gave me to share, but it wouldn’t be complete without first telling you ourstory. On our 4th wedding anniversary

Recovering psychologically from a subarachnoid haemorrhage (no physical deficit)
I spent a week on a
neurosurgery
ward and then came home. I spent quite a while feeling almost euphoric due to the series of fortunate events that meant I was treated very quickly and of course the fact that I didn't need surgery.

Sub Arachnoid Haemorrhage Survivor
I have seen several posts by those who are suffering from the effects of SAH or TBI. I don't know if my personal experiences will help but this is my background. Between September 1979 and July 1984 I suffered three Sub-Arachnoid Haemorrhages. The first wasn't diagnosed as a SAH due to the circumstances

Gluten Ataxia - status of duodenal villi
I had more taken today, but the results may not be back before I go up to London to see Dr Lunn at The National Hospital for Neurology and
Neurosurgery
in London. I had a gastroscopy two weeks ago and I asked for duodenal biopsy samples to be taken.

Metastatic Breast Cancer Survivor
I am new to this group. Here it goes. I had a lumpectomy and then 3 weeks later had a right mastectomy with no lymph node involvement in 1994. At that time I did have reconstruction, which was painful. At that time I thought I will be good if it doesn't go into my left breast. It never has although

FMD, What really is going on??
Good Morning All, Many of you know me, some are new and may not. Anyone can read previous posts of mine so that I don't have to be to redundant in this post. Although a little history will be helpful. I was diagnosed with possible fnd or dystonia back in 1998 after a brain surgery for vestibular

Brain Tumor Survivor
Had brain surgery to take out a 4" tumour on my cerebellum, back in 2013. My scar hurts still at times, and I am more easily irritated if I can't get something.

Brain surgery led to fibromyalgia 😢
Hi everyone my name is dimplez and I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I'm in my mid 20'S and I was perfectly fine before my Brian surgery besides the headaches and nauesa. I didn't have issues with my muscles or joints, now I suffer with muscle being sore, tight and get really bad knots in muscles
