Hello Asthma friends
They have insisted on the steroids nose spray Avamys,
Nasonex
was giving me nose bleeds. If not still going to the hospital gym twice a week and having physio once or twice a week. Moving certainly helps.

How to determine a true and pristine psa doubling time and use it to manage therapy.
I am casodex 150 mg and avodart .5 mg and has been bouncing around between 3 and 5 for about a yr and a nurse told me about 5yr. doubling time. But now its been going up around .6 every month for the past 3 months. Psa is now 5,83. Had 3d conformal beam r.t. so i I still have a prostate and a high testosterone

Saw a newly diagnosed man's PSA go from 400+ to .61.
I recently met a newly-diagnosed man in a nearby Prostate Cancer Support Group. Already metastatic to many bones, and with pelvic area bone pains. He took Casodex to prevent a "flare" and started Lupron. Also had one Zometa infusion. Then, per the CHAARTED trial results (favoring earlier rather than

Testosterone Levels
My husbands testosterone level is suppressed to 10 and 2.5 free. He's on Lupron and Casodex. Are these levels low enough?

Chemical vs surgical ADT.....
I read so much on here about ADT with Lupron, Casodex or whatever. I had an Orchedectomy shortly after diagnosis, so when my PSA starts to climb would adding an ADT regimen help me??? There's some topics on here about casturation but mostly just chemicle casturation. My PSA started to climb a year

Casodex and Mystery of Testosterone

First Chemo and Lupron
I received my first chemo and lupron shot on March 30th. I must say I had a pleasant experience at the MD Anderson Center in Cooper Hosp Camden, NJ. My onc said that being on casodex 50mg for 7 days lowered my PSA from 435 to 210. The side effects so far is mainly fatigue. I make it a point to be as

Dr. Edward Friedman - The Man Who Claims PCa is Caused by Estradiol
I read his book and he states that the aromatization of testosterone into estradiol causes PCa. He bases some of his conclusions on Lebowitz Triple Androgen Blockade..if you combine the theories of Friedman...Leibowitz...BAT...a protocol to control PCa and prevent CRPC would be: 12 months of Lupron +
