After looking on Internet I’m wondering if I have narcolepsy. Symptoms seem to fit, and when I think back I even used to nod off at school during English!

Had a few tests done to rule out iron deficiency, narcolepsy and sleep apnea. It could be my meds but I think it's general MS fatigue. Just wondering if anyone else is like this? Amy x

I am on Adderall but need a pain medication from my chronic pain that doesn't interact with Adderall or my narcolepsy. In other words, I don't want a pain medicine that is too sedating.

This is not narcolepsy, seizure or some kind of weird sleep apnea. I have to get to a bed to lay down. I can't move. I can adjust my body and pillows. All I can do is lay there and sleep. There is no advance warning of this happening.

Could it be narcolepsy? Or something else? I’m increasingly concerned about the strength of this fatigue and know I need to do something. I will be making an appointment to see my GP and contacting my rheumatologist but wondered what you all thought? Thank you in advance.

I also have diagnosed anxiety, depression, and narcolepsy along with my ADHD. I'm so ashamed I have gone against my values with the thing I did in the past week. How do you 1) move on from the poor choice your impulsivity led you to do and 2) make sure you don't do that action again?

*had multiple atrocious symptoms - including narcolepsy-like symptoms a la dropping phone in a text conversation and going right to sleep. And the conversation was not even boring.

That was on Synthroid only (225 mcg) & I could not even function through a day with that one, it was weirdly the absolute worse time period with intense brain fog, narcolepsy-like instant sleep (not being dramatic), crazy hair loss & the inability to write a sentence without missing entire words.

It is indicated for Narcolepsy, Jet Lag, and Sleep Apnea. They called it "Viagra for the brain" and compared it to the drug from the movie "Limitless". One dose lasts all day. I took 200mg at around noon. I was pleasantly alert all day and seriously felt almost no fatigue, physically or mentally.

Was told it wasn't Narcolepsy, even though it all points to that. No reason given. I have tried every medication known for my sleep at night as I said I'm now afraid of the dark and what it brings.
