Eventually I was blue-lighted in an ambulance to a London hospital, where I was admitted for 5 days with suspected
myocarditis
and had more of the same tests done by cardiologists, which again confirmed a structurally normal heart.

Pfizer and Modena Vaccines Linked With Heart Infections
The Pfizer and Modena vaccines have been linked to
myocarditis
and pericarditis. However it is an extremely rare complication affecting about 1 in a million. The Astra-Zeneca and Janssen vaccines do not display this side effect. https://www.bbc.com/news/health-57781637

Another possibility mentioned was
myocarditis
. I thought because my echo scan was normal I would be discharged.

Israeli study suggests booster vaccine highly effective
However, the researchers found that the risk of
myocarditis
and of many other serious adverse events was substantially increased after SARS-CoV-2 infection – suggesting it’s safer to get the vaccine than the disease.

First appointment with cardiologist..what questions to ask
I then when to a&e who said it looked more like
myocarditis
as a result of covid. I wasn’t given any medication but referred for an echo/mri scan as outpatient. I have now had these and have an appointment with cardiologist on Friday. What questions should I ask cardiologist?

Hair loss
Probably as a result of viral
myocarditis
. She’s taking the usual cocktail of drugs and they seem to be causing some hair loss. This seems to be worrying her more than the heart failure. Does anyone have any advice or ideas to help please?

Scared to go back to normal - recent diagnoses. Please advise
Mild Heart Failure (
myocarditis
) so enlargement of the Heart. Mild Lung Damage. So I am now in the throws of despair and fear. Hearing that it is mild is consoling, that it hopefully can be reversed (remodelled) is also a hope.
