Hair loss

My wife has heart failure. Probably as a result of viral myocarditis. She’s taking the usual cocktail of drugs and they seem to be causing some hair loss. This seems to be worrying her more than the heart failure. Does anyone have any advice or ideas to help please?

I had the same problem and when I read the side effects found it was the Ramipril. As I pointed out to my consultant, it's not a good look if you're female😀. I'm still taking it and found that after about 2 months it stopped or at least slowed down until they changed the dose. It's now 4 years on and no longer a problem so my advice is hang on in there it gets better. Hope that reassures your wife a little.
