I am having a Crohn's flare and using tylenol and mylanta. I would like over the counter suggestions other than mylanta. Thanks. I am not interested in medication recommendations. Wantok

Here in New Zealand we have available at supermarket treatments like Gaviscon, Enos, Mylanta, Quickeez to settle the stomach. Are any of these appropriate for us AF sufferers or should we stay well clear? Alternatively any other suggestions? Thanks Blake

they gave me Pepcid 40mg that isn’t doing anything I’ve taken Tums, mylanta both chews and liquid, ate bland diet. This heart burn is so bad it’s burning my throat have chest pains burping and coughing food up and I still have this fluid in my ears with intermittent dizziness and tiredness .

He used Nystatin at first but it never fully went away so his MO added Kessler's Cocktail ( a compound pharmacy concoction of Lodocaine and Mylanta, aka Magic Mouthwash) now he uses both medications.

My doctor prescribed me to take Omeprazole and Mylanta. It became an on and off issue for me, until last January 2020, i had severe stomach ache. I saw my PCP and i was diagnosed to have flare up of GERD resulting to gastritis.

They gave me a bottle of Mylanta (which hasn't helped) and sent me on my way. Am I alone on this? I'm losing my way of life here.

Does anyone have cancer and going through treatments, all my doctors cannot answer me as to why I have all the gut problems (blowing up with gas) have tried peppermint tea, gas ex, Mylanta, eating nothing everyday.

The only relief I get is when i take an antacid drink like mylanta. I'm wonder, for those who have been on SSRIs, what side affects did you deal with at first? How long did they last before things got better?

Still feel nauseous even with stomach medication and mylanta, maybe due to migraines? Point is I never feel good. Still feel short of breath sometimes but blood work was normal so maybe it is from acid reflux or anxiety. I'm not sure if medication is helping, and I still don't feel good.

But I'm just frustrated because I'm thinking okay what if the xray says alls good (not that I want something bad , of course not) or just 'yep you got gerd keep taking zantac/mylanta'. What if nothing changes and I keep feeling fatigue, short of breath, w stomach issues everyday?

I find that taking 1 teaspoon of Mylanta before meals keeps any acid off it, but if I try to take any supplements, such as iron etc, I get a dull ache in that area. My question is this: Is this irritation going to prevent the ulcer from healing?
