CNS Symptoms and Advice
So my main question is should I be seeing an improvement by now, I’ve had cns involvement before but I was on
mycophenolate
then and that took a while to work. Does it also take a while for the inflammation in the cns and the symptoms to calm after rituximab?

Gut and hands!
My gut issues (reflux, bowel frequency etc.) are manageable at the moment but I have to be careful - I am currently on
mycophenolate
, hydroxychloroquine, esomeprazole and antacid, plus eye drops for dry eyes. I think GPs require more education about this and other auto immune conditions.

Practical Weight loss advice whilst on steroids and MMF
I’m also on a titrated dose of
Mycophenolate
Mofetil (MMF) and won’t reach full strength (2x 500mg BID) until 4 weeks time. I need to get back to losing weight again. Keto shakes were very effective in life before Pred and MMF.

Marginal zone lymphoma
I refused steroids as I listen to my gut instinct, but was started on
mycophenolate
. As teams carried on investigating what was going on further scans were showing nodules were disappearing themselves. Which was great.

Mycophenolate
I am on my first week of taking
Mycophenolate
and my PMR/Vasculitis pain has increased tremendously, so much so, I can barely function. Sleep is almost nonexistent. I was meant to take two tablets, but have started with one. I am not sure whether I should stop or not. Thank you

Possible relapse, trouble seeing Rheumatologist.
Put on pred and
mycophenolate
initially, then two rounds of rituximab. I have been med free since 2016 other than Septrin. My first flare included episcleritis. Something I had never suffered before or since. That is, until a couple of months ago.

Fed up with meds
Now on
mycophenolate
which keeps causing my wcc to drop. I am still taking them at the min with a wwc of 3.4. My cholesterol is up so started on statins but realised that
mycophenolate
my be partly responsible for increase in cholesterol and that certain statins can cause muscle and joint pain.

Tips for starting mycophenolate

Link with Scleroderma and Cholesterol
Hi all - I’m on
mycophenolate
last 6 months and have noticed my cholesterol levels slowly rising. Really careful with my diet. Does anyone have the same issue? What tips do you have to manage this? I also have acid reflux, Do you think this is connected too? Thanks
