My oncologist disagrees with my NMD doctor who prescribed me with TURMERIC 500 MG/
MSM

Old but new here.
I want to learn what others are doing to see if it might help me as well, and to give what has helped me out, too. i still have a mass in my right lung, so I am using some non medical approach for treatment now, taking
MSM
and Ginger Root along with AHCC.

DHEA and Pregnenolone
A recent visit to a MD in general practice who was interested in administering injections of Testosterone decided to wait and prescribed DHEA and Pregnenolone and
MSM
instead. His blood test did show these to be low. Also, in this blood test it showed the hormon estrogen to be low.

Some natural supplements that help for hair (and pain)
One of the recent posts mentioned
MSM
powder, which I have in my pantry but hadn’t been using. It’s good for joints and pain, but also hair skin and nails, so I started putting about half teaspoon in water in the am.

MSM
(for hair, skin, nails.) Currently Levothyroxine at 100mcg 4 x week/88mcg 3 x week. I increased Levo by one day per week every 4-6 weeks.

Methylsulfonylmethane: Applications and Safety of a Novel Dietary Supplement
Reduce Oxidative Stress In vitro studies suggest that
MSM
does not chemically neutralize ROS in stimulated neutrophils but instead suppresses mitochondrial generation of superoxide, hydrogen peroxide, and hypochlorous acid [97].

I am 45 I got diagnosed with a degenerative disease of my lumbar spine in July 2011. I also have lymphoedema. To cut a long story short I have been through hell and high water to get put on a medication plan to help with my conditions. I am still taking my medication but I am in chronic pain. The problems

The Value of a Good Compounding Pharmacist, a True Story
As an example, one of the tested supplements was oral and topical
MSM
, but she could not tolerate it because she said the bitterness was overwhelming to her and so she tried to use topical
MSM
, but she said even topically the
MSM
instantly gave her the same bitter taste in her mouth.
