Medical Cannabis Hi everyone, has anybody taken medical cannabis for pain relief and help with sleeping ? I live in Spain where it is legal to grow 3 plants for your own use. I also am suffering with heat fatigue, 35 degrees in the shade at 9am.

Thanks to advice gleaned from here I feel I'm making some progress but I'm still not where I want to be yet. I had some fantastic guidance from GreyGoose last time who

Afraid to take Xtandi
My hubby has been prescribed Xtandi but is afraid to take it due to the side effects. He wonders if the Eligard he started getting and the radiation he will start getting next week will be enough to help his situation. Had a radical prostatectomy in 2004, 38 radiation treatments in 2010. Now his recent

Newly Diagnosed
Hi I’ve just been told I have severe Osteoporosis after having a Dexa Scan. I’ve started Adcal D3 and I’ve been given Alendronic Acid 70mg. It’s my left hip and lumber spine which is affected, -3•5 in hip, -3•1 in lumber spine. I’ve been told I have a fracture risk of 36%. I’m naturally concerned about

Long-term overall survival of radical prostatectomy patients is often superior to the general population
New German study below [1]. An odd observation. Perhaps the lifestyle changes that men make after diagnosis really do make a difference? It is not surprising that the benefit would diminish with the seriousness of the cancer, but even the high-risk guys did slightly better than the life table. "A total

Radiation or RP for capsular contact?
I have Gleason 7 (3+4) but a high risk Decipher score. Prostate is around 35 cc so SBRT is still a good option as is radical prostatectomy. My MP-MRI showed a 5 mm capsular contact. A surgeon says he can still likely save the nerves on that side but if there is any doubt he will have to cut into the

I'm not new here, but I have only been a spectator for a few years. I'm 71, diagnosed with prostate cancer 20 years ago. After radical prostatectomy, clinical trial of chemo, and external beam radiation, the psa slowly rose until about 4 years ago, when I began Lupron injections. The psa went down

Anyone have Zometa infusions
Hello. I am 63 and 7 months post mastectomy, and have been on anastrazole since January. My oncologist has suggested I have Zometa infusions every 6 months. I understand there are downsides to consider, including jaw problems. I welcome all insight Thank you in advance!

Hello
Hi, I’m sure a lot of this will have been discussed before on various posts but I haven’t had a chance to have a proper look through the forum yet. I’m 26 and have been on high dose steroids for the last few years. I’ve been on adcal and vit D during that time but not bisphosphonates (despite me asking

I have hope
I am new and this is my first post. I had breast cancer 11 years ago at the age of 64. It was caught very early by routine mammogram and the surgeon was just going to remove the very small lump. I said I would feel safer if I had a mastectomy, and he agreed to that. Now the cancer has come back, this
