Has anyone been in a battle about how bad their brain is?
I woke on day and brain had changed. 25 years years later and an unrelated MRI it was discovered I had a frontal lob cavernoma. But it was very small and some experts say incidental, other so no it is causing your problems. But this aside I know my memory is getting worse and it has been for the last

not PCa related but an important step forward
as you know I like to look at trends as well, not only to scout for new prostate cancer research…so here we go, the first cell therapy for solid tumors approved in the USA https://www.europeanpharmaceuticalreview.com/news/232117/fda-approves-innovative-engineered-cell-therapy/

I find this helpful
I have talked to two people about alcohol use and they both had a physician tell them that they typically increase the amount a paticient reports to 2 to 4 times the amount reported because people lie about their alcohol intake. This also happened to me my liver function was low and I was told that

Free The Lid!
The EU in its wisdom has decided that all plastic bottles must have their tops tethered to the bottle to ensure they are recycled together. Crohn's+IBS
Hi,I became unwell about 2.5 years ago and after a year was diagnosed with Crohn's. I've been on biological injections for my Crohn's for the last 18 months and according to my consultant after a couple of colonoscopies/capsule it is being well managed. He said I also have IBS. My question is since

Feeling pathetic...
Sitting at the hospital in the midst of a synacthen test and feeling sorry for myself. So I thought I'd vent on here to a group of lovely folk who understand what it's like to appear normal on the outside but struggling on the inside! Like most on here I hate having to admit I can't do what I used to

my day took a dive.
My brother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His surgery early this morning revealed the cancer had spread undetected. They ended the procedure and sent him home giving him 6 months to live. Life seems random and impersonal. My son’s dog Roxie understands.

Ultra sensitive psa
As my MO basically doesn't want to engage in conversation during my 5 min appointments as he feels it's an insult to his managing my case I was wondering after 7 rounds of docetaxil why he decided to do an Ultra sensitive PSA instead of just a good o PSA. I've not reached an undetectable number as of

This study indicates not enough metastatic PCa patients are having Next Generation Sequence testing (NGS)
This cohort study indicates that more and earlier NGS testing may prolong the radiographic survival of patients with BRCA or other homologous recombination repair (HRR) alterations.
