Hi all. I have been prescribed isosorbide mononitrate to treat microvascular angina symptoms. Will it help to relieve the fatigue that I seem to experience constantly and which I have attributed to the MVA?

Hi Mullio, I have conorary artery spasms and can remember when I first went on isosorbide mononitrate and started other meds at the same time I remember how fatigued I felt, it does go but it took a few months for me. I think your body has to get used to these meds as long as there helping you. Hope this helps and someone else will be around soon to give you some advice. Regards Sheena x

Hello Mullio,

I live with Coronary vasospastic angina.

I have taken isosorbide mononitrate extended release tablet for over 8 years along with Calcium Channel blockers.

I am always tired and even more fatigued after alot of angina which I tend to experience at night.

I have learned to pace myself and take life a little more slowly.

Rest in the afternoon if I need to.
