Big pharma? No, big mix up at the GP and pharmacy supplier...

Metoject
is finally in my hands. Delayed dose or missed dose. Possibly contributed to flare recently quelled.

Hi I've recently started having my Methotrexate dose via
Metoject
pen after approx 10 years of taking the tabs, which I stopped due to nausea. I've had several jabs at my Rheumatology clinic and all fine bar a bit of nausea and upset stomach once or twice.

Hi there guys, I'm on Metoject 20mg and I'm coming out in bruises
Hi there I've got RA and was only on hydrochloroquine but the specialist convinced me to take metatrexate orally, I started having horrendous mouth ulcers and so they suggested I take the pen instead. I've now noticed I have started to bruise so badly even just waking up overnight looking like I've been

Is 22.5mg/0.45ml MXT the same as 25 mg/0.5ml MXT?
Hi, I'm on 22.5mg MXT which I have as a
Metoject
pen. When I picked up my prescription today I had 25 mg/0.5ml. I was pretty sure this wasn't right so popped back into town to the pharmacy to check. The pharmacist said they were the same thing, and I said 'really?'.

I'm excited 😮
A few weeks ago I moved my MXT injection day from Sunday to Saturday night - I'll do it next Friday night so I don't have to take my
Metoject
with me. Does anyone have any tips for me - in particular about potential problems transporting my many drugs!

Cimiza advice please 🙂
Also, would I have it on the same day as the
metoject
? I understand that we're all different but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Waiting time for delivery of metoject pens
I'm waiting for Alcura to get in touch with me to arrange delivery of my first
metoject
pens. Spoke to my rheumatology nurse 5 weeks ago to start the new regime and she said it'll take a few weeks to arrange. Stupidly I never asked roughly how long she meant.

Decisions about anti-tnf's
Metoject
20mls weekly, sulfasalazine 800mg/day isn't cutting it. I've not long come off yet another course of prednisolone and have been put on another month of it. It helps reduce some of the swelling but all of my joints are still very painful, all day every day.
