Is it ok to get eyes dilated while on Ibrance and Faslodex
Hello all I'm on monthly Faslodex and on my second month of Ibrance. I have my annual eye exam on Tuesday -- I had retinal detachment twice in the same eye 10 years ago. I've had no eye problems in 8 years so these annual visits are check ups. Is it ok to get my eyes dilated? I'll call or email my Oncologist

SABR treatment options
I am aware there are benefits to having this treatment early to delay onset of further
metastasis
. Currently taking Zytega and Predniselone, and I have an injection of Zolodex every six months. I have been on this regime now for 18 months and all is stable.

Ten years after...
I just wanted to try to give some reassurance to anyone who is in misery - or the even deeper misery of any hint of a recurrence - that miracles are always possible, and the developing theory of oligo-metastatic cancer confirms that even after
metastasis
, our chance of surviving is increasingly possible

Tamoxifen
I have been on Letrizole for over a year and just can't tolerate the side effects any longer Extreme weakness, fatigue, and dizziness to name a few. My onc wants to change my medication to Tamoxifen even though she feels Letrizole is the better choice. Have any of you gone from Letrizole to Tamoxifen

Pectoral Lymph Nodes Swollen
After finding the 4-5 lymph nodes (bumpy to feel) after stretching my skin, and realising I first reported tenderness there to my doc back in May, I’m expecting to be diagnosed with
metastasis
bone. Chest X-ray and mammogram came back clear but awaiting CT results.

Time to metastasis?
If castrate resistant and high Gleason which is the time to
metastasis
one can expect? Does it vary if the main tumour was operated or radiated?

What to do after chemo?! Immunotherapy trials!?
He does not have any bone
metastasis
at this time. He just completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy and the tumors have shrunk significantly! He now has to decide the next step of treatment. He is 72, his Gleason is 9, and he has
metastasis
in his pelvis/pelvic lymph nodes.

D-dimer, Radiation & Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation [DIC]
Cancer increases the risk of life-threatening coagulation, as well as
metastasis
. Nattokinase, which can dissolve the fibrin in clots, is thought by many men to be protective, but I suspect that most simply take a 2,000 FU cap & hope for the best.

Screw Checkmate 650 - the “trials” of trials!
They did a scan and labs and his blood counts are wonky- rbc’s, hemocrit, hemoglobin trending down every time - this scares the hell out of me because of past bone marrow
metastasis
and history of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) at diagnosis in August 2017. Low calcium.
