Melanoma?
I recently saw info about
melanoma
online and it says that if a mole looks some way (ABCDE criterion) then it is possibly
melanoma
. Mine looks weird like an atypical mole but it's been that way forever. Can a
melanoma
last that long? Im 19 with no family history and is Southeast Asian (filipino).

Subungual Melanoma?
Im really scared I just noticed this when I woke up this morning. A very thin line vertically across my thumb. It extends to the tip of the nail (where it is beyond the finger) but when I look at the underside there's nothing on the skin just on the nail. Im scared what could this be? In this picture

Swollen arms and legs
I had radiotherapy really two years ago in my eye for militant
melanoma
of the iris. I am wondering if the swelling has anything to do with that or is it just my fibromialgia playing up. Arms and legs are in so much pain. Fed up with all of it.

Antitumor responses stimulated by dendritic cells are improved by triiodothyronine binding to the thyroid hormone receptor β
In a B16-OVA mouse model of
melanoma
, vaccination with T3-stimulated DC inhibited tumor growth and prolonged host survival, in part by promoting the generation of IFN-γ-producing CD8+ T cells.

Can Your Body Be Trained to Cure Its Own Cancer?
A group of 52
melanoma
patients were treated with one approved and one experimental drug. Nearly one-third experienced rapid and deep tumor regression. As study leader Dr. Jedd Wolchok observed, "We have spent several decades in cancer research learning better ways to treat the tumor.

HELP! ALT going up again!
I had a mole removed from a very "private and personal" place and told that they thought it might be a
melanoma
. Luckily, it wasn't. Then, I've been REALLY worried about January's blood draw for my liver enzymes and my mammogram in February.

I was SO hoping for a healthy and worry-free 2015 after a
melanoma
scare, a radical hysterectomy, a traumatic brain injury and all of this liver stuff.
