Parkinson's could be otherwise.

SMR and SIO conferences
Hi everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone is attending this year’s Society for
Melanoma
Research (virtually) conference? Or the Society for Integrative Oncology conference (that’s both virtual and live in Baltimore)?

Any Experience with Pegasys and Wound Healing? UPDATED BELOW
A month ago I saw a dermatologist who found a
melanoma
on my left calf. Two weeks ago I had surgery to remove the
melanoma
at the calf and the sentinel lymph node. Clean margins were found. Prior to surgery, the surgeon recommended that I stop pegays.

Here we go again!
I have been encouraged by my wife to do so, since she is recovering from
melanoma
surgery. Her surgery, thankfully, was successful. Since I understand that I will be partially uncovered for this exam, I am wondering if I should message the doctor a little of my health issue.

Melanoma?
Hi I’m new here and posting as my partner has something painful on his foot. Would really appreciate advice as doctors not open on weekends. He’s had this around 9 months but now I see odd looking tiny moles irregular there. Here’s a pic would love to here back I’m so worried. Thanks to all

With Ryan being a guitarist this is devastating.. long and incomplete story short. 95% of the
melanoma
in this area was taken out. He left 5% of the tumor because
melanoma
had sunk its tentacles in the nerve.

I am sharing this because people dealing with
melanoma
don’t need to add covid to the mix. My son followed CDC guidelines and got vaccinated in February . Maybe the
melanoma
treatments altered his response to the vaccine . Maybe it’s just a case of break thru covid in a vaccinated person .

I’ve been urgently referred to dermatologist
I spoke with the doctor today and she said it could be
melanoma
and that I’ll be urgently seen my a specialist to see if it’s cancerous. What can I expect from this appointment with dermatology? I’m so nervous.

People of HU - Where are they now? Ryan's journey with metastatic melanoma
First, I want to point out that during my
melanoma
diagnosis I made it to a 12-step program. Without this, my addiction would have killed me. In 2011 I was diagnosed with stage 3
melanoma
in my inner right ear and that ear was removed completely.

HOW YOUR SKIN RESPONDS TO THE SUN CAN HELP DETERMINE YOUR RISK OF SKIN CANCER
Damage is cumulative and irreparable which can lead to the development of both
melanoma
and non-
melanoma
skin cancer. ADVICE: Avoid tanning, take the necessary precautions to protect your skin from UV radiation and check your skin monthly for the early warning signs.

Reverse S.A.D.? Is that a thing?
I think I'm less prone for
melanoma
as I limit my sun exposure.

Advice needed
The oncologist says it’s breast cancer cells but not
melanoma
. She has been having hormone injections for it but the area is spreading. Has anyone else experienced this & if so what was the best advice?

Clinical Trial searches
hello all Three times during this
melanoma
journey, i have had to search for clinical trials. When that happens, I get totally consumed in a complex process. Thanks to the folks on this site who have offered help- i am so grateful for that.
