The rheumy called me in a
Medrol
pack which immediately helped. I have since switched to a new rheumy who ruled out everything from the old rheumy bc she wanted to start from scratch and do some more intense testing.

Rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis. yes or no?
Hi all, This is my first post as i need help and clarification. Back in March this year 2014, out of no where i woke up with Swollen fingers in the AM, did think much of it. Long story short. After a couple of months and no help from DR's i couldn't walk in the AM. My hands were so swollen and painful

How long does IM depo medrone last?
Hi, Does anyone else get IM steroid injections. I had my last about a month ago and it made such a difference but today I feel exhausted again, with the knees and feet starting to get tender. I realize it could be the temperature and the fact we had a weekend visiting friends but I had been feeling so

Intern who prescribed azithr will be at the hosp./Thursday.Will call then
medrol
and macrolides are not a good mix. The intern apparently believed I had "rheumatoid artheritis" not "temporal arteritis". She didn't do a c reactive protein, nor a sed rate, in the blood tests.

Is my immune system on the blink?
I've had PMR for four years, I started on 20mg of
Medrol
and am now down to 4mg ( there have a few flares along the way) I want to reduce the dose even further if possible. I'm feeling good as regards muscle pain but in the last few months have been plagued by minor infections.

Is it possible to have methetextrate withdrawal, which includes heavy fatigue? Or is it the adrenals not highly functioning?
I took the 3 mgs of
medrol
. I called the Dr. and asked about taking 2 more mgs of
medrol
. She said, "Yes" to do it. I did, felt better for a few hours. now again, feeling very fatigued. heavy fatigue, some dizziness, beginning to get a headache.

Hi.thank everyone for their support last weekend.
I am still taking 3mgs of
medrol
a day. I took the cat scans for my brain, neck and back. Everything is the same, they said, there are dissections and an aneuyrism on my vertebral artery, and none have changed.

Appointment with thoracic surgeon today re: aneurysm vertebral artery
I am now taking 4 mgs of the
medrol
daily and still 10 mgs of methetextrate weekly. I am hoping that the injection of the methetextrate will help getting the inflammation down. Hope all are well, surviving and dealing with the prednisone. wish everyone well. all my best, Whittlesey
