give up NDT...?
I also managed to wean off
Medrol
about a month ago. I had been on it for four years and have tried to wean off it unsuccessfully on several occasions over the years but, this time, I managed to do it. I have not taken it for a month, and still feel OK.

take NDT at night?
I am asking after reading the other night that people suffering from adrenal sufficiency and taking
Medrol
had better take it at bedtime, so that they wake up with ideal cortisol level (due to Medrol's long half-life, compared to hydrocortisone drugs).

Anti inflammatory medication? ?
Hi, I would be really grateful for some advice about anti inflamatory I've been taking naproxen for around two months which I started during a big flare up. I've recently had a review at the gp and have been told I can only be on them for two month bursts due to the effect on your heart kidneys and stomach

So now my question is: should I go back on
Medrol
anyway (that is, take it tonight before going to bed), or should I simply wait and see what happens? My doctor seems to think I will need to be on
Medrol
for the rest of my life for adrenal fatigue.

NDT and adrenal fatigue
I was diagnosed with AF a few years ago, and put on
Medrol
(4-6 mg daily) by my doctor (a Hertoghe doctor). I felt great at first, but
Medrol
no longer seems effective. I was told I could not take HC because of my tendency to retain fluid.

total confusion
I had taken 4 mg of
Medrol
24 hours before going to the lab. Now, I was prescribed hydrocortisone, but told not to take more than 5 mg at a time, because I suffer from hypertension (successfully treated with drugs). I was told to take 5 mg at 8 am and another 5 mg at lunch.

dark circles under the eyes?
I have been on
Medrol
for the past four years, and it has not helped either. Hoping to be able to wean off
Medrol
, I have just started Nutri Adrenals Extra. I have already decreased
Medrol
from 6 to 4 mg daily, without feeling any difference.

DHEA...not sure what to think?!
One put me on
Medrol
, told me I could go up to 6 mg daily, but also that it would not be possible to measure cortisol levels in blood on
Medrol
. The other doctor told me to to take a multivitamin for a few months, along with 10 mg DHEA daily, to see if it made a difference.

Since then, I have been on
Medrol
(4-6 mg daily depending on my condition) prescribed by one Hertoghe doctor in Belgium.

Tocilizumab - Has anyone had....
Hello I had my first infusion of Toc! On January 11th, it was ok needed to have the infusion slowed down as I became really Anxious, and had a bit of a Panic. It took nearly 2 hours and I felt a bit wobbly afterwards, very light headed and dizzy but it passed quite quickly. Two weeks in I had a DVT

Continuing saga
Hi! I wrote on here a few months back asking advice on finding someone to look outside the box after being treated for 5 years for sero neg RA and was no further on. Got a lot of interesting feedback from people on here, thank you, so thought I'd update you and ask your opinion on a couple of other things

Why are we all struggling just now? Is it atmospheric mould? Am sure it isn't Christmas!
Everything else is jumping in too and despite a large depot
medrol
injection only four weeks ago I have had to increase the oral steroids also. I just realised others were having tough times too, but to be honest if it is increased mould I really don't know what we do about it.

wean off synthetic steroid drugs?
Has anyone successfully weaned off synthetic drugs like
Medrol
or prednisone; somehow, I have the impression that is harder to do than to wean off natural hydrocortisone? Or is it possible to switch from
Medrol
to HC and, from there, slowly wean off it completely...?

I have been on Estrogel and natural progesterone (Utrogestan) for the past four years, not because of menopause, but as part of my adrenal fatigue treatment plan (along with

Any Suggestions Welcome!
My RA is active and has been since April, the only relief I get is with the Depo
Medrol
injections, which only last upto 3 weeks on me, and I have had quite a lot of these due to really bad flares and having 3 Ruptured Baker Cysts.

Temporal Arteritis in 23 year old male
The only medication I ever took that seemed to help the temple pain was a
Medrol
(methylprednisolone) 6 day pack I took. The pain went away after the 3rd day but returned once I ran out of steroids. Could this be temporal arteritis at such a young age?

has anyone here used estrogen?
My doctor (a Hertoghe doctor) said my labs showed that I was far from meno- or perimenopausal, but that I was put on E and P because of adrenal fatigue (for which I was also put on
Medrol
, up to 6 mg daily). I was also switched from thyroxine to Armour Thyroid, which was later switched to Erfa.
