Electric stimulation machine Therapulse or compression machine effective for RLS ?
Hello, I am new to this website, and writing on behald of my mother who is 61 and has been suffering with insomnia and RLS for many years. I am not sure if the RLS causes the insomnia or the other way around but they are both extremely difficult to deal with, as many people on this website know. Currently

Anyone with knowledge, personal experience, studies, trials with Radical Prostatectomy after bone, lymph node and/or soft tissue metastases?
Found this: Treatment with radical prostatectomy (RP) plus adjuvant external beam radiotherapy (EBRT), androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), or both (MaxRP) provides equivalent survival outcomes as EBRT, brachytherapy, and ADT (MaxRT) in men with Gleason score 9–10 prostate cancer, according to a new

Heavy feeling after radical hysterectomy
I had a total hysterectomy four weeks ago and my vagina now feels heavy. Dragging feeling. I’m worried it has prolapsed. Or is it too soon to tell. Does recovery and scar tissue feel heavy? Should I be worried. My follow up appointment isn’t for another three weeks. Has my vagina fallen? How do I

Lutetium treatment in Turkey - Anadolu Clinic
I have just started Lutetium-177 at the Anadolu clinic in Istanbul. I was referred to Dr. Kezban Berberoglu by Dr. Eugene Kwon of the Mayo Clinic, who has overseen my treatment for the past five years. She is a very capable specialist and I hold her in high regard. I would certainly recommend

Miracle cures.
This is not really a question. Just have to let off steam. I am so tired of reading or hearing about all these miracle cures for rls. I try everything with the hope of some kind of miracle. I purchased the relaxis pad for $1000., all sorts of rubs, supplements, cbd gummies, medical marijuana, etc

Serous borderline tumor
Hi ladies, Where to start? I had surgery on September 16th - initially started as laparoscopic removal of fallopian tubes and left ovary (with a 5cm cyst). Surgeon thought everything looked good and while he was stitching me up - pathology in OR indicated a borderline tumor. Ended up having a radical

Seeking Data ???
I am trying to collect information from men in a specific category. That category is men who have had a radical prostatectomy (RP) and thereafter experienced biochemical recurrence (BCR) and used proton beam therapy (PBT) radiation as the treatment following that BCR. I’d like to know several things

Early stage OC diagnosis & Radical hysterectomy at 37 - terrified. Can anyone give me some positive words/experiences x
I had a giant cyst, ovary and Fallopian tube removed. A CT scan with dye and bloods for tumour markers all showed as normal. But the biopsy showed stage 1a in my ovary. Surgeon said other ovary looked ‘plump’’(!) and fine. There was a small lymph node but he didn’t think significant but the oncology

PSA Expectations after SRT with Concurrent ADT
Greetings! I just wrapped up 7 weeks of salvage radiation therapy on 26 August that was done with concurrent androgen deprivation therapy, and I'm about to go for my first post-treatment PSA test. (We agreed the ADT would be a one-time, 6-month dose to assist with the SRT.) I'm just not sure where

Leakage
I had a radical prostatectomy 8 years ago and I have bad bladder leakage. I have to wear Depends every day because of the amount of leakage. It usually occurs when I am sitting on my sofa or working in my yard. Does anyone have any experience with us? Also, does anyone know of a procedure that would

Study of Systemic Immune-Inflammation Index for determining survival after radical prostatectomy.
https://www.mdpi.com/1797758 Go to link and download the pdf. This article talks about determining if a radical prostatectomy is beneficial for non metastatic prostate cancer. For those of us considering the procedure it may help with your determination (definitely not me as my cancer is metastatic

Pain medications?
Is it difficult in the UK to obtain prescription pain medication? Here in the U.S. doctors send you to a Pain Management doctor upon which you are given a very minimal amount (if any). They first evaluate you and make their own conclusions as to whether THEY feel you need it. God forbid you are having

Diagnosed with BC when I was 46, bi lat mastectomy, chemo and tamoxifen. Mets to spine this year after 25 years cancer free. On letrozole and finished radiation. Trying to decide if I really want to take verzenio now or wait a while. The side effects look awful.. I suppose we all debate quality of life
