I had a radical prostatectomy 8 years ago and I have bad bladder leakage. I have to wear Depends every day because of the amount of leakage. It usually occurs when I am sitting on my sofa or working in my yard. Does anyone have any experience with us? Also, does anyone know of a procedure that would eliminate or minimize the leakage? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you looked at the possibility of an Artificial Urinary Sphincter (AUS)?
Consult with an urologist about a sling to elevate the urethra or an AUS.
Same situation, but not as bad, getting a sling next week, will post how it goes.
the AUS is admittedly is another surgery, but it works great for me and most others who have it.
DH has an AUS -life changing surgery for him. Lots of information on here. You can use the search feature to find a number of guys’ stories.
There is a forum on HealthUnlocked just for problems with incontinence -- contra-intuitively call continence:

You may be able to find more information there.
I had a sling procedure some years ago and for a more serious incontinence resulting from an RP, and it took care of almost all the leakage (which is what was expected--it's not perfection); it's a much less serious procedure than an AUS
I can relate. I had RP 17 years ago and began needing the Depends process about 6 years ago. I'm just grateful that I don't leak at night! One, maybe two Depends during the day takes care of the problem now. I play the ukulele and sing the oldies. Am thinking about starting a group to sing at assisted living facilities. The Depends!
i have had a zling fitted after RP and almost total incontenence then had an AUS fitted and has changed my life. While its not perfect I would recommend it
I have an AUS fitted but before that used a Wiesner clamp. These work very well and I was able to travel internationally and participate in demanding sports without leakage. Strongly recommend trying one before moving to an AUS.
Check out Amazon for a variety of "incontinence clamps". I have a small collection. Weisner for all-around. Lunderg for most reliable. PP-stop for comfort. Various designs are pretty ingenious. Unlike RS265, I still wear a pad (Tena, not Depends) for tennis.
There is a Weinberg store on Amazon which has more detail.
