DOUBLE MASTECTOMY
I'm a 51 year old female, diagnosed 2014 with breast cancer. First yr as a survivor. 11 surgeries later I'm on a quest to wellness. But with this monster I have new medical problems. Feel like I will never get better. Anyone feel this way? Wellness where are you?

W8R1: The Plight Of The Bumble Bee
Well, I may not have been the fastest out there this weekend, but I was definitely the brightest! In electric blue and apian inspired shorts, the sun reflected off me dizzying the other runners. So much for running incognito. The recent sunny, warm weather and my new girlish figure (have quit smoking

After all, this isn’t cancer of the stomach or the lung, nor breast cancer requiring a
mastectomy
nor, the worst of all in my view, cancer of the pancreas, which took my mother’s life in 1999. My cancer is altogether quieter, less obtrusive, less dramatic.

After a double
Mastectomy
and chemo, it has now metastasized in the lungs and lymph nodes. Has anyone survived a similar situation? Outlook does not look good. Any advice would be appreciated.

Genetic councelor suggested bilateral
mastectomy
and salpingo oophrectomy. Can anyone suggest which hospital best in India for my situation or any specialist name? I need a good opinion before doing this preventative surgery.

Step one: Complete!
We went for our initial Egg Sharing appointment today and it all seemed to go well 😊 My urine sample was fine, the scan showed my ovaries and womb look good so now just got to wait for my AMH levels to come back tomorrow and all being well we will have further blood tests in a couple of weeks and then

Endo and asthma
Has anyone else developed asthma since endo diagnosis? I was diagnosed with endo 2yrs ago now. It was a bit of a 'lucky' diagnosis if I'm honest, I'd been suffering with increased pain in the first couple of days of my period for at least 1.5-2yrs before I went to my GP at the time (I've since moved

Tramadol
Hi all, I've been suffering from fibromyalgia symptoms on and off for a few years, but they got much worse since last September after several emergency a and e visits and an 8 day stay due to gall bladder problems and infection, which involved tons of morphine, tramadol and codeine over several months

I had a non-nipple sparing double
mastectomy
and oophorectomy, so I know I've done due diligence surgically. I know this genetic mutation leaves me susceptible to other forms of cancer too, and there doesn't seem to be a set protocol on how best to monitor a person like me.

Lymphedemajourney
I’ve just had a flare up of my secondary lymphedema due to radical
mastectomy
and 14 lymph node removal. It will be 2 years May 16, 2018 since my surgery. I’ve been able to control lymphedema with compression sleeve. But now I’ve had this flare up—swelling, upper arm & elbow redness & hot.

Double Defeat
I have the count of someone who's had a vasectomy. My wife needs to gain a stone before we're considered for IVF. She's hurt angry and frustrated and is taking it out on me. I know she doesn't want to. I feel less of a man than I have ever felt and how she's making me feel. I'm already emasculated. It's

Condoms slip off looking for suggestions
I have a shorter and thinner penis and have always had issues with condom retention. My foreskin is also quite long (as you can see in my other post) wich doesn't help keeping a condom from unrolling. A clerk recommended my wife use female condoms instead of my using conventional ones..we don't want
