everything feels weird
hi, I had a panic attack February last year and I’ve never been the same since. I’m now struggling with depression and anxiety , everyday feels a struggle to get through. Everything looks and feels totally different from what it was like before the panic attack and I am constantly thinking about it.

Bad marriage and no family....
I am in a bad marriage and my family is not around and/or do not care. Due to my health I can't move out. His personality and the way he deals is really affecting my will to live. I don't want to be here and I feel it will be a matter of time. I am sick of battling MDD and PTSD. I also deal with an

Losing hope
Hi everyone 👋 This is the first time I've tried chats online, but I just feel like I have nobody to talk to about how I feel. I'm really struggling with anxiety and depression and having a lot of negative thoughts. Medication does nothing, I can't motivate myself to do anything and I feel completely

Medication help for anxiety/panic attack
Hello, I am new to this website and have been reading many of your posts. I guess we are all in the same boat and just trying to get by day to day. I have a question I was hoping to get some help with. I have suffered from anxiety and depression since around 1998 after my Mother passed away and a Daughter

Small panic attacks
So yesterday I was walking the dog like I do everyday, I got so far from my house and started thinking what if I have a heart attack while I'm walking the dog, so I turned back and stayed about 5-7 mins from my house and made me feel better ,, but that's the worse thing someone can do, you need to face

it is possible

It takes a lot of work and willingness to live as a survivor and not a victim. This has been my lived

Self-Absorption: The Root of All Psychological Evil vs. Self-Acceptance and Compassion (Dr. Leon Seltzer)
This morning, a good friend and former girlfriend I've been keeping in touch with as we're supporting each other through some difficult times, in relation to my recounting the throes of depression I've found myself in lately, kindly convicted me about looking up and outward more in selflessness instead

ADAA Personal Story: Why I Wrote a Children’s Book about Postpartum Depression When I Was 9-Months Pregnant
When I was growing up, I watched people on TV enter emergency rooms inaccurately believing they were suffering from a heart attack. After a full workup was done, the relieved TV doctor pronounced it was only a panic attack. For a long time, I wondered how someone could possibly confuse emotional stress
