my husband had these. Get a child’s toothbrush (soft), make the baking soda mouthwash. I think one teaspoon of baking soda and one teaspoon of salt into 4 cups (1 L) of water. He also got some suclafrate mouth swish while hospitalized and this helped but his oncologist refused to prescribe it after he left the hospital. I also bought some chemo mouthwash from Amazon called Prevention Oncology Alcohol Free Mouthwash. Hope this helps.
Others also mention that magic mouth wash from oncology.
There's a liquid oral prescription. Sorry, I can't remember the name. I had horrible thrush after the 1st infusion. I used the wash for a couple weeks to help heal the sores.
I had good luck with "Magic Mouthwash" prescribed by MO
Best of luck ! Just curious...what chemo treatment are you taking ?
