Hi there just taking a chance if anyone has the same situation like me.I was 10 months post chemo on my OC,unfortunately my liver enzymes GGT and my ALP never come back to normal its always elevated during my 3 monthly check up even I changed my diet.I didn't drink alcohol and Im not eating fatty food either. I was 10 months post chemo ,at the moment my CA 125 was in normal range.Im thinking maybe because of my gallstones???my doctor was not worried much about my gallstones.Hopefully the elevated liver enzyme of GGT and ALP was not a sign of OC recurrence.

Hi there. Mine are always elevated. When I look at my test results I’m always concerned then oncology say they’re ok. I am on Rucaparib and that causes elevation so they look at the whole picture. I just put my trust in them. The chemo could have caused it and still be in your system. There’s so much too worry about isn’t there? Drink plenty of water and don’t get dehydrated.

Hi thank you for your reply, yes there so much to worry about.I dont have any maintenance medication for some reason my GGT and ALP still elevated.I did drink plenty of water and avoid eating meat and fatty food.Hopefully it will decrease and back into normal range.

Mine are always a little high and I finished front line chemo ,avastin 2yrs olaparib in December 24. I check my blood makers every time even though I have to Google what they stand for 🫣🤣I'm hyper vigilant like we all are but some people just have higher results. I will still keep check though as I'm never really going to leave things upto the doc's or oncologist again 😅😘 x
