magnesium type and dosage
I've had RLS for some years now. I did take requip, but my insurance no longer covers it. I am new to these sites. I am so thankful for a place to discuss this terrible condition. I recently read that magnesium helps. I started taking it at night and it had helped immensely. I am not sure which

Timing of NDT doses
I will be switching from Levothyroxine to NDT in the next few weeks. How do people manage to eat if we need to split the dose into 2 separate times, and leave 2 hours either side of taking an NDT dose, particularly avoiding magnesium, calcium and iron? So for example 9am breakfast followed by supplements

Afib has gone persistent
it seems my AF has gone persistent now on day 15 with it 24/7 heart rate constantly going up to 150 just sitting in house, verapamil is taking it down a little to 90/110 but not always. What is the chance of me self converting? I take everything magnesium, d-ribose taurine, vit C all the the B’s. I

Supplement schedule query - which should be taken apart from others?
Hello! I've been SI since late 2017, but have changed my co-factor (and other) supplement regime over time - including recently re-introducing folinic acid, having become folate deficient. I've always had low ferritin and months ago started Simply Heme iron supplements, which are supposed to be easier

RLS - Q&A
Hi RLS survivors I am continuing my Pregabalin journey and wanted to check in with this community to ask out loud various questions circling around my head. The good news is that Pregabalin is making a difference. I get some relief from jumpy legs at night even on a low dose (75mg) What I am experiencing

Nothing is working! I’m not asking for advice I’m just feeling sorry for myself.
My girl is 8. She is hyper, extremely defiant, immature, LOUD, obnoxious, and has no impulse control. Honestly, I think she may be a narcissist. Can you tell at 8? I can’t leave her alone because any time I do she at best makes huge messes which she never cleans up but usually destroys things that are

Correctly written prescription...do they exist? 🫤
My pharmacist requested that I get my prescription altered to state Vencamil now that Aristo has been dropped by Alliance to stave of future confusion ( it currently mentions both)... I did say that I had tried in the past to get it named but they say that they can't... So I spoke with the Surgery and

Zoplicone and RLS
I take a sleeping pill every 3 or 4 nights to escape from insomnia. I also take gabapentin , 1200 mg ,which does largely quieten my legs. But recently when taking Zoplicone, I wake after 6 or 7 hours of refreshing sleep to get quite a bad attack of RLS. More than I ever experience as I don't suffer too

Please help with advice on Levo dose and vitamin levels.
Hello.I was started on Levo at 75mg about 10 days ago. My doctor wants to do a blood test after 8 weeks. Last time I was given a 2 month trial and because my TSH came down ( they don't care about antibodies so those weren't checked ! ) they took me off the Levo. Now I've gone to a different, much more

Safe to take Gabapentin for life?
I haven’t been able to find any reliable info on whether Gabapentin is safe to take for life (30+ years), specifically for severe PLMD with pain. My husband has this and has not started it yet, as his neurology visit isn’t until later this week. His case seems to be different than any we have read about

Potassium and Magnesium
Hello all, I was diagnosed with AF the other month (a few days after my 40th, what a lovely gift) and, like everyone else, went down the rabbit hole of doing my own research into it and found many people taking potassium and magnesium supplements. These are many types on the market so I was wondering

iron test results help please
I must admit that even after a few years, while I mostly understand my thyroid test results, my iron tests continue to confuse me - I just can’t seem to get my head around the significance of the different parts. So I wondered if someone who actually understands could please explain in really simple
