Travelling issue
Hi PWP I am an Australian travelling at present in the USA and sent some baggage to my next destination. I will not get there for another week. I realised that I sent my Madopar 250 (3 x daily) with the baggage by mistake. I organised an MD visit and there is no Madopar in the USA. I have been given

Has anyone had any joy from using Gabapentin for Essential tremour. I have tried Mysoline , which 'spaced me out', Propanalol, Pramipixole, and Madopar, none of which work. Am interested in anything that works !

Madopar vs Sinemet (& mucuna)
Neuro just put my husband on Madopar (one of the side effects being nausea...for some reason he didn't prescribe Sinemet) We were hoping to supplement with mucuna once his body gets used to the drug. My understanding is that mucuna needs the carbidopa in Sinemet to be able to cross the BBB. Does

Bad reaction to Madopar
My husband has been taking Madopar for the last 5 years and has started getting bad reactions an hour after taking. He says it feel like every nerve in his body is being electrocuted and pulled out with tweezers. They also knock him out for 2 hours and I can see him writhing in agony. This usually

Pharmacy errors - given wrong medication.
Yesterday went to pick up my sinemet CR at the pharmacy. Stayed in the car, my husband went to get it. When I called in the prescription I asked for three months refill. It felt really light so I decided to take a look at it, I'm glad I did. It was only for a month however it must have been sinemet IR

Meds not working after starting taking at bedtime
My sinemet worked fine for quite a while but I was having trouble sleeping due to stiffness so I began to take sinemet CR 200/50 at bedtime. Once I started doing this my meds during the day dropped off. They used to work for 4-5 hours each dose but now they only work for 2 hours each dose. Has anyone

TRAMADOL
After reading many many posts on this site, I have formed the consensus that most of you are either taking or have taken Tramadol as a med for RLS. Unfortunately down here in Oz, the medical practitioners I have seen have been reluctant to prescribe this for me. Are there any people on this site from

Opicapone
Has anyone tried opicapone with Sinemet cr. I have been told you can't take them together. As I take Sinemet cr through the day but it's not lasting very long now only about hour and a half and I wanted a way to extend it. In fact has anyone had experience of opicapone and whether it smooths out Sinemet
