I survived....Thank you

Hello Ladies,

I originally posted back in May '20 and I was diagnosed with my first OC recurrence in June. I was beyond scared and you all helped me so much. I made it through surgery and 6 rounds of Taxol/Carboplatin. I am one week out of my last chemo. I never thought I would be here. I will be starting Lynparza in January for two years. I just wanted to say thank you to all who helped me. It's hard to believe, but my husband made going through chemo fun. I wouldn't have made it as well if it were not for you ladies at the beginning of my journey. For those of you just beginning this road, lean and listen on the lovely ladies here. They know and are the best friends to help. God and you all got me through. Happy Holidays and much love. SDlady.

I have just joined and I feel I have found friends. I was sick for a while before I was diagnosed. I have had the same procedures as you . I had my second last chemo yesterday. I had a difficult time with the last one. My husband is my rock but I am not sure he made it fun.

I just started chemo December 14, 2020. Had surgery September 3, 2030. Had deep wound that would not heal and doctor did not want to use a wound vac. Wound still not healed. My oncologist was not happy surgeon waited so long to start chemo. Had a petscan on Week before chemo. No cancer in organs but some in lymph nodes. Am doing carboplatin and paclitaxel every three weeks. Had low iron so got iron infusion yesterday. Next chemo treatment January 7, 2021. Am praying for great results. You ladies are all very supportive and I pray often for a cure for all cancers. Take care and prayers for all of us.

Linda.
