Ultrasound results today, relieved!
I have a Cystic Nodule just left of the isthmus, 11x30x30mm, with no
lymphadenopathy
. My bloods are normal and I show no real symptoms apart from the goitre and a stiff neck. Which no doubt has been caused by the anxiety of not knowing what's going on!

Good News Train
PET showed no tumor burden in all major organs, I have
lymphadenopathy
above and below diaphragm. I do have some fluid buildup in abdomen which is suspected lymph fluid, but I suspect they want to see CLL treatment will clear that up without having a drain port put through abdomen wall.

Starting Calquence
I have an allergist appointment (at last) and want to wait and see if the shots help within 2-3 weeks or so, but hearing it’s “time” today when I was initially told 8-10 years before anything and only due to
lymphadenopathy
is kind of sad.

I’m still trying to figure out the
lymphadenopathy
getting worse but blood work, PET, and BMB are normal. Nothing alarming there except for three larger nodes, but not where the swelling is most unsightly.

Prognostic factors identify 11q deletion and unmuted status
I do think checking my IgG to see if there has been a further reduction from last year and a repeat CT would be warranted to see if my abdominal
lymphadenopathy
has worsened etc.

Treatment this week
I’ve also gone from almost no symptoms (besides slight
lymphadenopathy
) to pretty much all the symptoms….(night sweats, lost 14 pounds, constant fatigue, my lymph nodes are huge) but my rbc and platelets are still stable, but who knows how long that would last with my stuff going crazy.

BTK inhibitor challenges by Dr. Nicole Lamanna
Actually, some patients may have a white count that is rising but do not experience cytopenia or bulky
lymphadenopathy
and are asymptomatic. I could argue that you could maintain some of those individuals on their current therapy until you need to change them.
