The thing is, there was never any pain with my neuropathy after the mastectomy/

, just numbness. My meds list looks like a phonebook almost (well, only 3 pages) & it would be heaven if I found proof that I don't really need them all & could drop a page / 2 (or even half).

B12 deficiency post cholecystectomy
I’m curious if there is any link to cholecystectomies and B12 deficiency. I had my gallbladder out and then 8 years later, b12 deficient. Have any of you had your gallbladder out and then had B12 deficiency occur afterwards?

Pace and Ablate - Symptoms of Heart Failure after pacemaker and AV node ablation

Aviva - Excluding Endometriosis as a "Chronic" Condition
Hello I'm hoping someone could give me advice or be able to provide some support during this tough time which my wife is going through. I'm doing my very best to support her but feel like I can't do enough most of the time. I know we are lucky in that we have private medical insurance through my work

10 weeks post op liver cyst deroofing/resection
I am 10 weeks out today from robotic liver resection 10%m gallbladder removal (lesion pressing on it killed it) and deroofing of an 8 cm cyst (formerly a hemangioma that turned cystic after 2 ablations). I have made some progress but still feel rather badly; still have pain/discomfort on right side,

Having a huge cysts on both ovaries 1 was 20cm and the other around 8 cm it was decided it was best to get rid of both my ovaries too as this was the 3rd time i had surgery for endometriosis. My consultant has said i shroud wait a month before i go on HRT, due to blood clotting just after surgery. I

Soon to receive a pacemaker and AV node ablation
Hi. I'm just wondering if anybody on here has had the same procedure. I don't quite understand why some people just get the pacemaker and others need the ablation too? Also, approx how long between the two procedures and why the wait? Thanks in advance 👍

Gallbladder Removal Anxiety
After a few years of off and on stomach pain I finally had an ultrasound that reveals gallstones. I have a consultation with a surgeon and I am freaking out. Cleared the Slate and Started Over
I felt like I was spinning my wheels, so I basically cleared the slate and I am starting all over. I went through surgical menopause in my early 40s and now I am 58, so I am trying to figure out sex hormones as well as thyroid. I know I need adequate amounts of estrogen and thyroid to feel well. My problem

Dapagliflozin
Hi, All. Been pre pandemic since I've been here! Just before that started, I had an av node ablation done in early January 2020. I've felt great ever since. Highly recommended, no pain or discomfort during the procedure and it only took 45 minutes. My latest news is that I've been put on Dapagliflozin

At a loss 😢
Hi there wondering if anyone out there has any advice. I had a bilateral salpingo oopherectomy 10 weeks ago. I was told after this op that everything should be good and I would be Endo free. My ovaries were “stuck” to the pelvis cavity. During the laparoscopy my surgeon took biopsies and also looked

Exercise after an AV Node Avlation
Just a quick follow on from my last post. Has anybody out there had an AV Node ablation and been able to get back to full on exercise if they were very active before? Whether that's the gym to do strenuous workouts and weight lifting, lots of long distance walking, steep hill walking etc or long distance

25+ years with persistant AF, now possible AV Node Ablation
I am 52 live in the UK and have had permanent/persistant AF for I don't know how long as I only found out about it 25+ years ago by accident in the gym. I think they call it Lone AFib as historically I have rarely had any troublesome symptoms apart from more recently starting to get a lot more fatigued

AV Node Ablation update
It has now been just over a week since I had my AV Node Ablation. I had been extremely nervous beforehand especially knowing that I would be reliant on my pacemaker. The pace and ablate procedure doesn't 'cure' AF but it does control it and I can testify that is absolutely the case. My heart has tried
