He was also combining zytega with

long before that early combination was shown to reduce deaths by over 40%. The main theme being drugs that are found useful to one stage may be also helpful at earlier stages. I’d welcome your comments. Schwah

Receiving treatment while out of country
I also receive a six-month
Lupron
injection that I will receive before I travel. I really don’t understand why receiving 90 Zytiga pills for 3 months is an issue as most people that I know of are on a much higher dosage and go through 120 pills per month.

Followers have been checking in on me...I'm STILL here!!! and so is my food! Pasta with chicken breast and peas in a creamy sauce
Doctor says this is a GOOD result...just going to be staying the course with
Lupron
and Xtandi...and I get to drop the Xgeva...ALREADY after two months off my bone pain is almost completely gone. She's mentioned "ball removal" and I'm thinking about it.

Research Study with Niaparib in combination with Abiraterone Acetate and Prednisone
I am 77 in 2001 radical prostatectomy. 2009 came back. 2010 trial with Avastin, nearly died. 2010 started
Lupron
on and off till Sept 2016. CT scan showed enlarged repartineal lymph node. recent bone and ct scan showed metastasis in lower back. The VA offered this or just enzalutamide.

YOUR ADVISE RE WHEN DO I GO ON CONTINUOUS ADT VERSUS INTERMETTENT ADT?
Since September 2019 I have been on my 4th ADT of
Lupron
and Cassodex. Cassodex only for 2 weeks. My PSA was 3.70 but the doubling was every FIVE weeks. On this fourth ADT, my PSA has NOT GONE to undetectible. As of last week it is 0.07 and testerone is 0.04.

PSA dropping, yet testosterone rising on Lupron/Zytiga??
I got my first
Lupron
shot on 5/25/20 and started the Zytiga on 7/3/20. I'm an original Gleason 8 PSA 50 with extracapsular extension. Now with 4 bone mets about 3 years after HDR Brachy, IMRT, and 8 months of ADT.

A question and a bit of a gripe!
Zoladex created more muscle loss than
Lupron
, though Zoladex worked better. After surgery we have to regroup. We didn't do the bone strengthening drugs luckily since my husband had a lot of dentistry done. It would have been a nightmare. Thanks...

New to this forum: SBRT or Brachy to minimize chance of ED?
I'm 73 years old, in good physical shape, and still sexually active (at least until the first
Lupron
shot 3 weeks ago). Reading some of the posts on this forum, I get the feeling that HDR brachytherapy has less chance than SBRT of causing ED, which I would very much like to avoid..

I Can Do an Oil Change
In other news, I completed chemo back in June, finished radiation in July, and continue on Atezolizumab,
Lupron
, Abiraterone, and Xgeva. I'm finally beginning to see glimpses of improving health as I recover from the chemo and radiation.

What are the odds for real
He had his first
Lupron
shot in may (PSA at that time 2.7) and as of today radiation #14/38 completed. He is doing
Lupron
every 3 months indefinitely.

Urinary leakage before radiation
Hi everyone , I am in doubt if I should start radiation in November as I had my RP in March, currently on ADT,
Lupron
,Zytiga and still experience leakage (1.5, 2 pads a day) .I do a lot of Kegel but I am worried to go into IMRT and get worse or stay like this for good.

BCR - what might be next ...
I had a very tough time with
Lupron
and the SEs drove me crazy – so that explains the decision making. My original DX (May 2017) – G9 / T3b / PSA 300+ / node positive (local spread) / NO distant metastasis / CTCs found via 3rd party testing – (circulating tumor cells).

Starting cosadex
He agreed to start casodex and feels I should get a long run with it along with
lupron
3 month. The bladder issue is an overactive bladder and taking meds for that but side effect is diarrhea, a real pain in the ass.
