Travel to Gambia post Liver Transplant

I had a Liver transplant in 2019 and recovered well. I have travelled to Europe and the States since, however, I need to visit family in The Gambia with all the vaccines that entails.

Has anyone post Liver transplant got experience of not having the live Yellow Fever vaccine and travelling to The Gambia or other countries with Yellow Fever?

I am aware of the risks and have checked with my insurer, however, I would like to know of others’ experience of Yellow Fever risks for the unvaccinated.

Thanks!
