Chemist4U no longer filling private prescriptions -Where to get Thybon Liothyronine?
Hi, I got my T3 from Thybon Henning through Chemist4U before as they seemed to be the cheapest supplier. However, they say they are no longer able to fill private prescriptions, and this will be the case for at least 3 months. Are there other alternatives that are not too expensive? Thanks!

Latest Liothyronine guidelines
T3 10 mcg was removed in 2021, no discussion at all, then in Jan this year T4 reduced to 100 from 125. Now on 75mcg T4 and 5mcg T3 on a trial, two months in. Even though I have overt symptoms of hypothyroidism and have no thyroid my endo (head of dept here) does not agree that my symptoms of breathlessness

Availability of Morningside Liothyronine 5mg?
I have a regular script specifying Morningside
Liothyronine
5mg which I take twice daily. My regular pharmacy has been unable to get hold of it in recent weeks and their supplier is sending Viatris brand instead. I have checked with another local pharmacy and their suppliers are out of stock.

T3 starting dose.
I appear to be a poor converter of t4 to t3. I had my first private endo appt today and have a private prescription for Liothyronine.T3. I have been given 3 months at 10mg daily. Is this a good starting dose. Just wondering whether to try 5mg daily first to see if it has the desired effect. Also going

When and how to take Throxine and Liothyronine
I'm on 100mcg Throxine and 20mcg of Liothyroine daily, is it best to take them at the same time, around 7am? or seperately? Also on Bisporolol (beta blockers) ao not sure when to take that. Impossible to ask cardiologist, 6 month follow up appointment took 14 months, with no time to ask questions.

Please help - T3 non-prescription source
After reading about it online, I asked my GP for a trial of
liothyronine
, and he said only a specialist could prescribe it. So then I asked for a referral to a endocrinologist, and he said no because my blood levels are in range! Frankly that made me angry.

Healthwatch Heroes award for Norfolk thyroid campaigners!
When Tracey set up Thyroid Support Group Norfolk in 2017, Norfolk patients were not allowed access to the thyroid hormone
liothyronine
(T3). New patients were prevented access to the medication, and it was being removed from those already well on it.

Thyroid Trust Talk by Professor Karol Sikora
In particular, given the latest nonsense about
liothyronine
from the BTA/BTF we are no better off than we were 20 years ago. I will not be able to tune in to this talk.

Roma liothyronine
So I've been on the roma
liothyronine
for around 6 months. I've had bad indigestion with it despite taking it with a large glass of water. So I mentioned to the nurse this morning that I was better on the tablets.

Armour here today - but gone tomorrow!! Consultants have taken it from me. What now?
The Endo has suggested I either buy it privately or they will try me on Levo combined with
Liothyronine
. The Endo agreed my bloods were good - in fact better than they'd ever been!

new blood results
It is 6 weeks since i have been on 100 levothyroxine and introduced
Liothyronine
10mcg daily. Before the test I followed protocol, no medication before, no b vitamins for week before etc. I am pleased that my ferritin has improved but unsure about T3 levels?
