Levothyroxine making me tired and cold. Why?
I was diagnosed w postpartum thyroiditis after my third child in summer 2021. They thought it would go away but it’s not. It’s gotten worse and now the doc put me on levothyroxine 100mcg. This is my first week taking it and It’s making me really tired and cold. My last labs were TSH 36.100 T4 .55 and

cut in vaginal opening
So I think I have like a cut in the vaginal opening only like a paper cut small one. However I’ve only noticed it today as it’s been stinging while weeing and wiping, plus it’s also been very itchy only in the area of the cut. I haven’t had any sexual activity for 4 days nor shaven so I’m kinda confused

Has this happened to anyone else
has this happened to anyone else. Last August out of the blue I was admitted through A&E with an acute asthma attack, I'm 57 years of age and have not really been bothered by asthma for 25 years and even when I was younger was never hospitalised. Since August I've been diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency

Sulforaphane, NAC, H2O2, and the Circadian Rhythm
I have no answers. Just questions. Questions about Sulforaphane, NAC, and their effects on the Circadian Rhythm.I recently stopped taking my Broccoli Sprout Tea as it boosts NRF2, and boosting NRF2 may amplify the Circadian Rhythm, but if you want to amplify the Circadian Rhythm you probably want to

Cold feet
If, like me you suffer from cold feet I can highly recommend an electric foot warmer However, should you share your home with furry family do not “nip to the loo” 🙄. Having said that when I turfed my Belle out she sat on my lap and had a lovely warm bottom 😃

I'm 5months post op of upper right Lobectomy. I've had a chronic cough since surgery. repeat CT shows op was successful. camera down throat shows no reason for cough. I've had steroids, 5 lots of antibiotics and I'm now on blue and brown inhalers. nothing is making me better and it's seriously affecting

COPD cough
A very Happy New Year to All - here’s to 2022 bringing us good health. This may seem like a silly question, but is a permanent cough part and parcel of COPD please? My Mum has had a barking cough for over two months now, and after a number of courses of steroids and antibiotics it still has not cleared

Upping predisolone with pneumonia
I came back from abroad on the 30th of Dec feeling really ill. Went to drop in centre and have pneumonia. Given a 3 day course of antibiotics and told to up predisolone to 40mg for four days and then go back to normal dose-7mg. I wasn’t happy about this and my dr said no need. The antibiotics finish

A new life...
I stopped smoking after 60 years. When I started smoking in 1950s it was regarded as a design thing. (Even my Doctor smoked in the surgery whilst seeing and treating patients.) I contracted pneumonia in 2013, it was then that I discovered from my GP that smoking would shorten my life if I carried on.

Cough syrup for Parkinson’s patients
Can someone tell me what cough syrup Parkinson’s patients can take? Every Robitussin syrup warned against use by people with Parkinson’s…. I was just at the store and couldn’t find anything my husband could take….🤷♀️

Let's be careful during cold and flu season on top of Covid 19 "season".
Wear a mask to protect others and yourself.

Season Flu!
Hi All. Hope everyone had a good Christmas. I was just wondering if anyone has had flu / cold symptoms for 3/4 weeks. I’ve had many covid tests it isn’t that but my nose has been very runny for almost a month and had a little cough. It’s also coinciding with a lot of acid reflux. Anyone have any idea

Sounds like Rice Krispies upon waking
Hi all, I'm happy to have found this site. I'm 63, female, in the USA, I recently was diagnosed and hospitalized with Covid pneumonia (last of November 2021). I still get winded easily, I never did before this illness. My weight is within the normal range for my height (5'4", 130 lbs.) I have no history

When is a cold just a cold?
Hi I have RA and am on weekly BENEPALI injections. Had a multi generational meet up with various family over Christmas. I am vaccinated. Had what I thought was a booster in early November but have since had a letter indicating that was a 3rd injection and I should have a 4th in 6 months time. Anyway
