Sharing my recent journey with Parkinson's-induced insomnia
Hello everyone, Parkinson's-induced insomnia is a very common problem. I just wanted to share my recent experience, in the hope that it might help others I was diagnosed 4 years ago (symptomatic for 6 years) and, until recently, I would wake up a few times at night, but a few mg of melatonin would

Riboflavin (b2) supplementation is a no-brainer for Parkinsons

DIY Parkinson's Glove Users - How are you adjusting?
Hi I'm interested in anecdotal information from those who are using a DIY version of a vibrotactile glove specifically on how you have adjusted (or not adjusted) your medication over the course of your glove testing. I'm trying to see if there are any trends that would imply that this is replacing

Citicoline Warning
Citicoline and choline contain the trimethylamine structure which can be detached by gut bacteria into standalone trimethylamine. Trimethylamine is toxic. Excessive intake of choline results in a dramatic increase in the risk of cardiovascular disease. My writing on this subject here: https://tinyurl.com

park_bear made a very compelling argument for taking P5P (active B6)
park_bear made a very compelling argument for taking P5P (active B6)(a). My comments are: 1) When I tried taking (his recommended) 2 hours after C/L, I started walking side to side and the problem didn’t clear until I took my C/L again. 2) I am afraid to take P5P before bed because I did not sleep

Time to try some extended release?
I realize this comes up for discussion quite frequently, but I’m going to ask for some advice here for my particular situation. I was diagnosed January 14/ 2014 with idiopathic Parkinsons Disease, and purposefully avoided starting the C/L treatment as long as I felt I could. I don’t remember the exact

Calling for B6 test results in PD: Unveiling the dosage dilemma
It is remarkable that there is no known study where guidelines are given on the degree of B6 supplementation while a good B6 balance is crucial in PD treatment. Through HU, I have gathered a database of B6 test results from PD patients. Some from PWP without supplementation, and some with. Preliminary

Wondering if dad has RLS instead of PD (or both?). Any RLS indicators here?
Hi new to learning about RLS. My heart goes out to everyone dealing with this.
I'm reading a lot of comments about experiencing Augmentation from Mirapex/Dopamine Agonists or that if dopamine therapy doesn't work on you, you may not have PD. I've been wondering if my dad has RLS or something else
