Can sibo cause bloody stools
Was wondering how to get tested for sibo and if this can cause really excessive wind that is extremely bad smelling, noisy stomach upon eating dairy and bloody stools with alot of bloating in the stomach. Also does it cause a high calprotectin result.Any advice will be most appreciated. Thank you all

T3 side effects
Good morning, I have recently started T3 (around 7 weeks ago). I was prescribed 10mcg daily alongside 62.5mcg of Levo. After the first week I dropped the dose to 5mcg due to palpitations. I increased back up to 10mcg 3 weeks later. In the last couple of weeks I have been experiencing a lot of joint

Update on Hyperthyroid depression
I have seen an endocrinologist who started me on carbimazole on May 22nd for hyperthyroidism, my levels at that time were TSH, T3 5.3 (3.1-6.8), I am wondering if the levels are dropping too quickly as I feel so depressed but anxious at the same time, very cold feeling inside, bad brain fog, my doctor

Dr. Bianco: video from Thyroid Foundation of Canada
from 9 months ago. Somehow it ended up in my youtube feed this morning. He makes the point that L-thyroxine doesn't always manage to result in good fT3 levels and patients need Liothyronine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGlYO_H4Gdc&t=2682s

Carbimazole for life???
Hi, I’ve been on 5mg Carbimazole for nearly 2 years.. When I was first diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism, I also had Atrial Fibrillation, I took medication for this but after approx 12 months and after several ECG including 24 hour ECG, there is no trace of AF, so I came off medication for that and just

Bad batch of B12
Hi I'm just adding to the posts about bad batches of B12 - there's been a couple in the last month. I have self-injected since 2020 - originally every other day, increased to every day after having Covid in July 2021. Taking control has felt miraculous as I have been able to return to full-time

Do I just learn to live with thinning hair?
I was diagnosed with Hashimotos in 1997 & was on thyroxine for 17 years. Then on T3-only for about 4 years, after testing positive for the D102 variant from both parents. I have been on NDT for a few years now-THIROID at first until its supply issues.I got on very well with TR MANN & was very disappointed

I want to understand what happened to me.
I stopped taking levothyroxine for a month because I wasn’t feeling any improvement at all. Then, I went back on it with a high dose of 100 mcg and felt a quick improvement. I had a lot of energy, and the brain fog disappeared. But, this improvement only lasted for 24 hours. I then increased the dose

testing protocol on T4 and T3
Hi all. Does anyone have any experience/wisdom re a good time to take T3 pre bloods? I currently take it when I wake up which is between 6.20 and 7.30 and in the afternoon between 3.30 and 4.30. I have a first test since starting combined therapy booked and am wondering when I should take what.
