Medichecks Result and a warning about testing & HRT
Apologies for the long post (my first) and thank you if you manage to get to the end of it. Bit of history first (there's more in my bio), after 7 years of being bedbound with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, I was finally prescribed combination T3/T4 in 2018. I hadn't had my bloods checked since 2019

Losartan Side Effects
Hi everyone, Was wondering if any of you taking losartan for proteinuria experience debilitating muscle pain from it. I've taken it for a year for proteinuria (was at 1700 now around 500) and it helped great with that, but I have terrible muscle and joint pain at least half the day in shoulders, arms

Change in hair texture/appearance while on Ibrance/Faslodex
I am on Ibrance/Faslodex since early June. Before that I had 1 1/2 cycles of Kiskali but had a severe adverse reaction and had to stop. My hair started thinning on Kiskali, it is now shedding big time and I have lost about 50% of my hair. and the texture and appearance of my remaining hair has changed

More about Dexascan / AA / Adcal
I opened up intending to post about my latest AA Prescription dilemma - and still would like some advice. I wasn't sure whether to add to Blackcat1M's post - but it seemed a bit rude to invade her space! Anyhow, my GP prescribed me AA and Adcal -D3 early May on basis I had been on Pred since PMR arrived

How can I be sure to get the 'Real Thing', when purchasing Lavender, Bergomot, Jasmine, Lemon Balm and other Essential Oils? Amazon.com and other places are known to have a lot of fakes from China and other places, even made in the USA. Customer ratings don't mean that much anymore either. You can

Newbie looking for advice on recent test result
I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid in april 2022. What a rollercoaster! Do I have an autoimmune thyroid disorder? My first test was looking at reason for a change in bowel movements and fatigue. Doctor responded directly to the TSH level and placed me on 25mg levothyroxine. Serum

Thyroid Hormone Transporters in a Human Placental Cell Model
There has long been the received wisdom that T3 does not cross the placenta. I am not aware this has been proved in any level of detail. This paper appears to make that look wrong. Indeed, it appears to identify specific pharmaceutical agents which directly and significantly affect T3 transport

Counteracting the negative effects of ADT on the CV system?
I’m 66. I started Orgovyx in Oct. of ‘21, then completed sbrt in Nov.. My MO wants me on adt for 2 yrs.. That’s fine as I’ve tolerated the physical effects pretty well. I exercise regularly (walking ever day, weights every other day). But, my bloodwork is coming back with high triglycerides & cholesterol

Latest Consensus on Omega-3, Aspirin & Curcumin?
So in finishing up my deep dive into supplements, these were the three I had the most trouble making any definitive personal conclusions about so I wanted to do a review before putting them to bed to get any last input. My general feeling is without well-designed long-term studies (not retrospective

Hi Community: My father has been on Tagrisso for nearly a year now. And he's experienced dermatologic toxicity such as pimples and fissures on his finger tips. Returning to Gabapentin
After having an appointment with my GP I am about to go back to taking Gabapentin after suffering many side effects on Pregabalin.
