Why me?
I have been fighting congestive heart failure and have a massive amount of swelling in my legs that
lasix
doesn't seem to help. My legs are so swollen that my skin broke open! My leg popped! Just like that! I went to bed normal and woke up with a hole in my leg!

Could this be Behcet's`?
Hello everyone! I am really very confused if I have Behcet's or not. Around 2 years ago I started getting very painful, recurrent mouth ulcers almost every month. At the time they started I used to get around 10-15 of them. I wasn't sure if this was the result of my birth control (I started taking bc

No Answers; clock running out before I see latest doctor regarding prolonged, successful 18-year Coumadin use for clot to brain
Sought out a rheumatologist who gave me
Lasix
and Vasotec while running tests. All tests were negative. The next symptoms were lesions on finger tips and toes. A few months later, right index finger ulcerated, followed by the rest of my fingers/toes cracking, bleeding.

Reply to Q 'Do I have asthma & not know it?'
He prescribed Furosemide, sold under the brand name
Lasix
. My Cardiologist said it's not necessarily because I have heart failure. I think the respiratory tract is in a constant state of inflammation so the Furosemide decongestant and now I can clear my lungs.

Diuretics and lymphedema- yes or no?
They had me on IV
LASIX
which I also thought was for my legs. Nope! Evidently my congestive heart failure was showing itself again so they were giveing me the diuretic. After 8-10 days I nearly flipped out of bed when I saw my legs. They were SKINNY! I do mean SKINNY!

Pramipexole and Benzodiazepine taper.
All I take now are
Lasix
, Levothyroxine, and warfarin. am on a mission to get off of this too. Seeing my electrophysiologist in 2 weeks, will discuss and will even consider the Watchman procedure. Labs are within normal range and my docs are happy.

Born with drusen
My optometrist has been confused about what to do for my eyes for the past year because he got fancy new equipment that spots glaucoma years in advance,i and it showed a problem. However, I was born with drusen (i got it from my dad, who has had it worse in the same eye). The test showed some degradation

Efficacy and Safety of Quarter-Dose Blood Pressure–Lowering Agents -- commentary
The loop diuretic
Lasix
, taken with the Angiotensin II antagonist Losartan, nicely balances opposing effects on Potassium levels. Table 1 provides what the authors think is the “standard dose selected for this review”. This dose is already quite high! To take two drugs I know about.

Swelling of legs
I've been taking 10mg
Lasix
and my dr just told me to take 20mg x 2 for one day and then take 20mg per day until the swelling goes away. Anyone else have excessive swelling whilst on Diltiazem?

86 with A-fib, next step?
After complaining about shortness of breath and swollen ankles and feet, I asked to take
lasix
, she said no "she is not a fan" and she didn't have time to see me - well, then, I went into congestive heart failure, and went to the ER. They got rid of the fluid and my rates were 130/140's.
