80% Shrinkage - Now the Plan - Radiate plus Keytruda?
Doc said we have three choices: Radiate, Radiate +
Keytruda
, or wait, continue on with ADT and see what the beast looks like in August. I am opting for the dual treatment, and not waiting. What all should I consider with this choice? Much appreciate your wise input.

After various false starts, it has been confirmed that the Immunotherapy treatment with
Keytruda
has been the cause of my GBS event in January. I'm off immunotherapy forever now. Just learned today that my lung tumor has grown and is getting close to my airway.

How many of my fellow Prostate cancer sufferers have had this drug prescribed. I have been on it for 6months and I dont think it is doing me any good a tall. I am on the point of cancelling treatment tomorrow when I visit my oncologist and just heading straight into palliative care which may include

On to Keytruda.....
Beltran thought he may be a good candidate for
Keytruda
. He had his first infusion last week. With a high mutational burden, some mismatch repair genes, MSH 2,3 and 6, CDK 12 and TP53 we are once again hopeful. šš»

Cabozantinib and Keytruda
Update on my dad, he continues on the above combo treatment. His PSA keeps decreasing and his liver tumors keep shrinking. Very hopeful, itās now been a one year that his liver was invaded by the prostate cancer.

Has anyone with a BRCA2 mutation had
Keytruda
approved by Medicare for treatment of their prostate cancer? I found this article from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center very interesting. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/12/201201144034.htm

Guillain-Barre Syndrome
I have been on
Keytruda
and now have been taken off as I suffered a semi paralysis episode earlier this year and they suspect GBS is the cause. Am waiting for a confirmed diagnosis and CT scan. Very interested in learning more from anyone. Thank you!

Stopped Pemetrexed due to pleural effusion.. now, Docetaxol
My father (52) diagnosed with NSCLC in Sept'20 received 4cycles of Pem-Carbo + 2 cycles of
Keytruda

Update on Jim July 2021: (Cabazitaxel, ?Immunotherapy)
Future treatment is immunotherapy (
Keytruda
). We are hoping Jim can take a break between Cabazitaxil and immunotherapy. Thank you for allowing me to share our experience. I am grateful for this outlet!

The roller coaster ride with its twists and turns continues...
Looking ahead, she said he may be a good candidate for
keytruda
because of the very many newly developed mutations. We have asked for a copy of the genetic report so that we can see which mutations specifically she is hopeful about. He is not MSI or BRCA.

Who here is on Keytruda or other checkpoint inhibitor or some kind of immunotherapy?
I have been on
Keytruda
for about 43 infusions now first done every three weeks but every six weeks as of late last year. I am MSI-High with a partial MHL-1 defect. It has definitely helped me but am on a bunch of other stuff including dendritic cell vaccine immunotherapy.

Hoping for some advice
He has fared quite well but unfortunately when he was taking
Keytruda
immunotherapy he developed pneumonitis and had to stop the treatment. He was then given steriods (for the inflammation of the lungs) and has not had any cancer treatment for a year now - apart from scans and blood tests.

Update
He had radiation,
Keytruda
, and zometa all in one day. It whipped his behind. He had fevers for two days at night and in the morning. Made his whole body ache. Zometa is a drug they use to help bones not be brittle due to bone mets.

What next?
She had three rounds of
keytruda
along with two chemos and after her first scan, it showed a good reduction in the tumour and lymph nodes. She then continued with the immunotherapy and just one chemo.
