Pain meds
time I am currently on Arava and hoping it will work. In the meantime I take robaxisal for pain. GP gave me tylenol 3 but it does not work. Can anyone recommend a good pain reliever so I can at least go for walks. So fed up!

Humira
Hello, I was diagnosed with RA about a year ago. Been through the gambit of drugs. Merhotrexate, Plaquinil, Arava, now Sulphasalazine and Methotrexate. My doctor has applied for me to go on Humira. Can anyone tell me of their experiences on this. I have had extreme hair loss and am hoping Humira doesn't

Rheumatoid arthritis, pain is back with new symptoms
Hello. I've been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis since 2006, after a long ordeal through doctors, drugs without any effect such as Cortisone, Chloroquine and Arava or too many side effects like Methotrexate plus strong pain that lead me to pass a long time stuck in bed, finally in 2011, I was given

well farewell everyone I don't have RA
Went to rheumy registrar today who tells me the MRI on my right hand showed no inflammation so I don't have RA. They have no idea what is wrong with me and all he could come up with is a pain syndrome and would I like to go to the pain clinic and do cognitive behavior therapy. No I said I don;t believe

And yet another scan- I am a glow stick!!!!
Well I am off for an MRI on my right hand on Thursday obviously they think I need it. I must almost glow in the dark now from all the tests I have had. 4 weeks in to Arava and I still feel so awful, no relief and hoping at the end of next month something will have changed! The only annoying thing is

Arava and increasing pain and exhaustion
I have been on arava for a week now and wondered if anyone else experienced increasing levels of pain and more exhaustion and tiredness when they first started taking it? I am on leave and doing hardly anything so I can't even blame it on work.

Ticking along
Well 6 days in and the arava hasn't impacted phew so relieved no adverse side effects as yet! woo hoo. I do think however that my body is starting to betray me big time. Blood sugar levels way too high so I have had to do a glucose tolerance test and having a scan on parathyroid glands on Monday then

What DMARDs are available in injection form? Dr. wants me on inj. Due to elevated liver enzymes. ARAVA was effective until then.
Dr. Wants me to move to Enbrel, but I don't want to change to that group yet.

Leflunomide side effects - PsA
I started taking Arava two weeks ago after intolerance issues with both sulphalazine and methotrexate. All was well until today when I have suffered a few bouts of almost passing out - no pre warning signs just hit out of the blue. I am now left this evening with a headache and generally feel out of
