Advice on chest pains pls.
I had a heart attack in December 2022. I was 43yrs old. Ever since the HA, I have had intermittent chest pains. Sometimes worse than others. Sometimes it comes on when I am asleep, sometimes when I am at work and sometimes when I am driving etc. sometimes it is mild and sometimes it’s a pushing sensation

Vasospastic angina and migraine.
Been a while since I posted. I have vasospastic angina. I've been having what I call 'episodes ' on and off over the last month. GTN spray has been used on a more regular basis. I've noticed that over the last few days a migraine has been creeping in. Definitely not how my migraines usually present

Feeling rough
I had a MI in March last year and had 1 x stent several days later. Since then I've had various problems with the medication that I was given with mainly fatigue, so my medication was tweaked for several months after. I am now on the dosages I was originally put on and have been for a while and felt

Dizzyness when walking no chest pain though?!
Hello, Last week I had squeezing chest pain when walking after my heart rate shot up to 140bpm. I didn't feel dizzy or have much shortness of breath and it went away after using GTN spray. Since the day after that, every time I go for a walk I'm getting dizzy to the point of needing to stop walking.

New Year update
Firstly Happy New Year to everyone. Had a phone call last Thursday from my surgery to book an appointment for a blood pressure review. Had the appointment this morning what an utter waste of my time and the GPs time they wanted to see me as my BP is still stubbornly very low and I'm still getting lightheaded

Angina?
20th October I started to feel unwell after a week of stresses. Then the day after thought I had a bit of a bug from my granddaughter. By the next day I felt I had indigestion that seemed to come on as soon as I began to eat? Monday to wednesday bouts of pain in chest through to the back, neck, jaw

GTN spray
I have been advised to use my GTN sprat when I have pain in my chest to see if it helps relieve it.As yet I have not as I hate the side effects. The day I had my heart attack I was given several doses of it and the side effects were horrendous. I felt like my head was in a vise and eventually vomited

Excessive yawning when walking- a weird one
The past few days I've been struggling with fatigue, heavy legs and chest pain niggles, not feeling up to my usual walks. Today, I thought sod it & decided to push through & go for a walk. Did my 15 min warm up on the flat & started to walk up a slope - then I started yawning. For the next 10mins

Worried
I was due to have a polyp removed on the day of surgery (4 Jan) I attended for day surgery but the anaesthetist wasn't happy that I had only been diagnosed with angina by my GP. My GP had referred me to cardiology around the middle of 2022, but due to long waiting lists I had not seen a cardiologist

Chemydur - shortage isosorbide mononitrate
Has anyone else having the problem of not been able to get their vital medicines? I am on 60XL slow release Chemydur . Was told by boots chemist they are out of stock with both suppliers and told me to ask GP to get another brand. GP then says they do not know what to give me and to speak to cardiologist

Glyceryl Trinitrate first time use..?
OK - visit to my GP yesterday - and now awaiting referral to chest pain clinic to check my occasional exertional chest pain. In the meantime - GP has prescribed Glyceryl Trinitrate / Bisoprolol & Aspirin. I was intending starting with these today - however - during last night (2am) I woke with a light

Rectal fissure - healed!
I'm not sure if this is the correct group to post in as I do not have IBS, however for 10+ years, I had a rectal fissure that just wouldn’t go away. I live in the Caribbean, have a healthy lifestyle and diet. Years ago, when first diagnosed with the fissure, I was prescribed Lidoprocto suppositories

Return to Work
Hi everyone, I am 3 weeks into a 6 week phased return to work after my heart attack in May 23. I am doing catch up training only, presently, but the thought of dealing with angry customers, is worrying me. GTN spray getting belted and that’s before taking any calls. I don’t want to jack it in. Do
