First intervention and stent possibly not solving things?
I recently saw a comment here on intervention, stent and meds not always solving things first time. Has anyone experienced this please? I had a mild nstemi and one stent fitted just over 5 weeks ago but am still getting on and off soreness and discomfort, sometimes up to 3 or 4 out of 10 pain level but

Angina pain despite clear coronaries?
Well my angiogram done yesterday, and not as easy as I was led to believe, apparently my radial artery is tiny, hence a lot of pain initially. However I think I slept through the rest!! Now I am confused, cardiologist who was not the most approachable of men, said arteries where clear but my coronary

Local cardiology department don’t want to investigate low level angina at rest
Long story short coming up for 2year post angioplasty anniversary (jan). I get bouts of what I suspect is angina during the day and at night which is mostly lhs chest into armpit location fairly low level but can distract me from sleep. I don’t often use Gtn except when heavy and some relief may be gained

Is GTN spray safe to use for people with Atrial Fibrillation?
My father suffers with AF and although I consider him fit for an 81 year old, more recently he has experienced increased periods of breathlessness (even when doing very little) and occassional chest spasms. We know other people who use GTN as a result of a heartattack or angina but my question is, does

Anyone have Cardiac Sarcoidosis?
I have a pacemaker, two ablations and 5 or six cardioversions under my belt. I also have a lot of undiagnosed symptoms that, according to my research, are explained by Cardiac Sarcoidosis that I am able to control myself with Prednisone, Nitroglycerin and Lyrica.

Should Chest Pains Be Expected After Angiograms
My question relates to whether I should be concerned about very mild chest pains after having several angiograms with stents inserted. The pains are nothing like as extreme as when I had a heart attack (probably a 1 out of 10) but you just know they shouldn’t be there. Following a bout which lasted about

Isosorbide Mononitrate (Relosorb XL)
I have been taking the above Nitrate 60mgs daily for 1 week now. Fortunately, I have not had any adverse side effects and I take it around 06am each morning. I was put on this medication following having 3 stents put in, back in July. Apparently there was a 4th blocked artery that was not possible to

Good afternoon
Well here’s my update on Ranexa Ranolazine, I started the pill on 375mg for 2 weeks which helped but towards the end of that time the Angina started creeping back again. I did get an upset stomach a couple of days after I started it but it only lasted 24hrs so not sure if it was connected. I’ve been

Does GTN cause worse angina pain?
I have had heart disease for 20 years. I have 2 stents. I have had numerous angiograms during that time. 2 years ago my angina symptoms returned worse than ever. I have seen a couple of cardiologists and am waiting a heart MRI to confirm suspected microvascular angina and or cardiac spasms. My question

Fatigue following angina attack
Hi... Whenever I have an angina attack and have to use my GTN spray, I get an overwhelming sense of tiredness that makes me fall asleep. Following this, I then feel totally exhausted and burnt out which can last up to a few days. Does anyone else ever feel like this? X

Wardija Wardija - Update Clear as Mud !
So, went to meet my Cardiologist yesterday in relation to my lack of response to both my isosorbide medication and my GTN spray for my stable Angina.
