GP has reduced my Levo dose without consulting me first
Further to my last post in January I had my ferritin tested and have been taking
iron
supp since then. I do feel I’m getting there because of this but still feel some of my symptoms are thyroid related so requested an increase in Levo.

The outcome of my infusion, and a question
This is what my consultant replied; "Your results are perfect - nice Ferritin levels so you have good stores of
iron
, please repeat in a year (and ignore the transferrin level)."

B12 only half the battle -- and an odd symptom
So I made it through all 5
iron
infusions through February and I have to tell you, treating this low ferritin has made an epic change in how I feel. It was slowly like I just had more and more endurance - I could do things for a longer time without having to rest.

I cannot bear this life
Felt likeI was hit by a sheet of
iron
. Total fatigue. I was just about able to chuck the chicken in the fridge and clean up that area. I stayed in bed without enough energy to even eat anything but a bowl of cereals .

Can the T3 within NDT elevate AM cortisol? And not be best thyroid med for me?
Ive had alot of blood tests done as dyastolic is low ( sometimes below 60 but then I am very inactive due to the fatigue), D ,B12, Folate ,
Iron
panel ,BNP ,FBC, all suprisingly good considering how I feel, except electrolyte chloride and sodium are low (i understand this can be common with Hypothyroidism

I began taking
iron
off my own back as my ferritin was at 20 (dr not concerned about this and said it wouldn't cause these symptoms as my serum
iron
was ok). Things improved after taking for a month but I had about 5 days of not taking them. Began to have palpiations, flutters etc again.

Caffiene - ever again?
The Ferritin and
Iron
levels have been tested and found to be low, so the therapy is in place. My gabapentin dose is up to 1200 with 300 mid-day and 900 at bed-time. My lifestyle is slowly getting back on track. But a question that I asked my sleep medicine specialist remains unanswered.

When do I increase my meds?
All my other nutrients - D, B12, folate, ferritin,
iron
, etc. are in the ideal ranges - what's recommended here. CRP is healthy too, I track everything regularly. I eat lots of carbs, calories, nutrition is healthy.

Intestinal upset (diarrhea, tiredness, slight nausea) from ferrous sulfate?
Could my problem be due to
iron
sulfate? Is so, why now after taking it for years? If its the
iron
sulfate why are there days where I feel fine? Also, I'm wondering if anyone else has have a similar adverse effect from
iron
sulfate? How bad and what were your symptoms? How long did they last?

Tirosint
I am unable to take tablet form levothyroxine, I have a gene issue with metabolising some medications. I have started liquid thyroxine but I think the ingredients are affecting my stomach and I have been told to stop taking this to see if it is the cause. I see that Tirosint is quite pure but not sure

Questions regarding my B12 case (IF, veganism, oral sublingual, and other blood results)
My
iron
(94, 38-169 range) and ferritin (46, 30-400 range) numbers also decreased a bit (vegan diet may play role). TIBC is 385 (250-450 range) and
iron
saturation is 24, 15-55 range.

Query re. folic acid dosage and related issues
Also not entirely clear about taking
iron
if spare folic acid becomes ferritin and is stored as
iron
. Or if this is correct. Sorry if this is a question you are tired of answering and I have missed the answers.

Blood test results for possible adrenal problems and chronic insomnia
Are my
iron
levels ok or should I be doing something to help these please? I eat red meat 3 times a week and liver pate regularly. I see the endo tomorrow, which will no doubt be a complete waste of time like last time, but any insight would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Blood test follow up
Still waiting on results for B12,
iron
, folate. A year ago vit D levels and calcium were good, calcium ok now. Plan to retest for Vit D, date booked 21/4, as a bonus will get CRP/ESR done at the same time. Only symptoms are extreme fatigue.

doc wants to lower my thyroxine
Also
iron
is low and I’ve to take a pill for that. I occasionally get a little anxious (nothing major and she is now saying it’s the thyroxine). Feel scared to lower as I’m most definitely not feeling hyper. TSH 0.05 which does sound low and free T4 20. Any advice? Update with blood results :

help!!! Kind of in limbo with a diagnosis!
I am also following a vit D protocol and taking
iron
tablets. I have reduced my injections to once weekly until I get my
iron
levels up. So my questions are- who do I believe Dr Klein or the neurologist?
