TSH levels lowered after iodine spike - advice on next steps needed
Just to state I have had various blood tests and they are all optimal (cholestral, Vitamin D,
Iron
, Vitamin B's, Ferretin, anemia and many more) I am vegetarian and always have been, but I approach every meal as a science experiment so haven't had any deficiencies.

Iron infusions
The
iron
may have helped....but perhaps if I need another infusion the Dr. can change the dose.

Armour thyroid
I've been on armour for around 7 years, so I feel like I know my body quite well, and I recognise my symptoms of hyper/hypo well, but I'm so confused 😕 (All other bloods, d3, b12,
iron
etc ate in range)

Switched from Methadone at 10 mg to Buprenorphine 10 mcg
Also, I asked the neurologist to test the
iron
and and Ferritin levels. The lab served me a Medicare ABN for a cost of $155.23. I could be responsible to pay for it, if Medicare refuses it. I know this test is important. What should I write to the neurologist to ask him what can be done?

Low iron test results and a way forward please
Is it possible that the parietal cell antibodies could be preventing my body absorbing
iron
from these capsules or might I simply need a lot more
iron
than I can get through oral
iron
supplementation? Is an
iron
infusion the answer?

Blood test results
The next day I had a call off the doctor telling me that I'm anemic and to go down to the surgery for my
iron
tablets. Fast forward to Monday I went back to the doctors and asked for my thryroid test results. She said my thyroid is normal, and applauded me for getting the levothyroxine.

Iron
Clinic in Cambridge can that physician order tests and those tests are covered by NHS?

Opinion on RLS diagnosis
In terms of supplements I am taking magnesium glycinate in the morning, vit b12, vit b6, folate and
iron
bisglycinate in the evening with vit c, so far I haven’t seen the benefit for the magnesium/
iron
.

feel like I’m an imposter here
Then I ran across the old
iron
bridge and stopped very briefly to take a couple of pics and then carried on under the shade of the trees at the end of the park, which was a blessed relief.

Checking medication
I explained about too much/too little exercise, Gentle
Iron
and magnesium. He probably won't remember a lot but if he joins a RLS organisation HU he will soon find out so much more.

Hi Again - b12 and Peripheral Neuropathy (PN) - its wasnt the Alcohol?
Despite my consistent symptoms, and consistently high MCV, low RBC and borderline on
iron
. B12 Def was ruled out after the B12 serum test was in normal range. My GP said its nothing really to worry about - but more than likely to be due to my consumption of ...wine.. Oh the Shame!

Cortisol saliva vs blood serum
I have done an
iron
IV to see if it helps me with tolerating medication, but it doesn't seem to be the answer. Next thing to check is cortisol. My blood serum is top range, by saliva is low morning, then normal midmorning, the dipping to go up to normal afternoon and evening (59-65% range).

Any suggestions on timing of dosage?
As a result of what I've been reading here, I had an appointment with my GP who agreed that I shouldn't be on Pramipexole AND that I should have my
iron
levels tested (which happened this morning).

Looking for some guidance please
Ps: I have had my
iron
panel checked and it is not a problem as per this group’s guidance. So I have a couple of questions: 1) Is there a world where I stay on a low dose (.125mg) of pramipexole or is it the reason I continue to have so many problems??

Uncontrolled RLS
Ferrous Sulfate 325mg twice daily was added for an
iron
level within normal range but too low for RLS. He continued on his previously prescribed Gabapentin 400mg at bedtime. After 2-3 days, his RLS went away. For his sake I hope this is not temporary.
