Blood test results
The next day I had a call off the doctor telling me that I'm anemic and to go down to the surgery for my
iron
tablets. Fast forward to Monday I went back to the doctors and asked for my thryroid test results. She said my thyroid is normal, and applauded me for getting the levothyroxine.

Update 7.7
To be expected with
iron
levels increasing. No rush, but time to consider either a phlebotomy or a Besremi dose increase. LFTs are just a bit high. AST = 48. ALT = 68. Not concerned with LFTs at this level. Lymph level low but stable = 0.66. Neut = 1.23.

Floradix and Hemoglobin
My husband's
iron
levels have always run on the low side and now with the CLL pushing down on his hemoglobin and platelets combined with a reduction of heme-
iron
in our Macrobiotic diet, I see the need to supplement.

Starting B12 injections, how often?
I started on
iron
and folate tablets a week ago. What I'm wondering is how often should I be getting the B12 injection after the first one? (I am in Ireland). Thank you

Does this sound like Hashimoto's please?
I have had periods of diffuse hair loss, (eventually diagnosed as Telogen effluvium with crashing
iron
levels too). I am now starting to lose the outer edge of my eyebrows, my skin and scalp itches and as I say, my energy levels and mood can feel low some days.

update on subacute thyroiditis
I also started B complex vitamins and
iron
supplements. I saw the consultant this week and my bloods show I may be tipping into hypothyroidism and I need to see if I get any symptoms and may need some supplementation with levothyroxine if my TSH rises.

Living with HF
I am having an
iron
infusion on Friday, which I am sure the low
iron
count is having a big effect on my mental state. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

What to expect from iron injections
I just started
iron
injections this week and will be having them once a week for six weeks. The nurse says the full effect of the
iron
takes place a month after the injections are finished. I was wondering when those of you who have received these injections got relief from RLS.

one last question ( hopefully)
I hope I can get him to do some tests, like size shape and number of red blood cells, intrinsic factor,
iron
and folate levels etc. Question is this : I have started to S/I with hydroxy, had 3 so far, will that slew all the test results or only the B12 levels?

NHS Endo - South East - Pro T3 - Three referral choices...
At around the same I had my local surgery test for blood FBC, blood sugar, cholesterol, calcium folate, B12
Iron
etc. This was just to check for my self that I wasn't encountering any other issues. To my surprise they also checked my FT4, FT3 and TSH.

Gabapentine or Pregabalin?
My
iron
panel results are consistently good. I do take an
iron
supplement. I also take losartan and co-amilazide to regulate my blood pressure.

Transitioning from NDT to T3 (slowly) - anyone done this? Or combines NDT with t3?
My vits are all optimal as recommended on here including midrange ferritin (after
iron
IV). My cortisol in saliva is low normal on 2 out of 5 points a day, while my blood serum cortisol is high in range.

has anyone gone back to t4 after trying thyroid-s?
Ive upped my
iron
as well this time round and was hoping that would help. I still wonder what I did wrong with the Thyroid-s and wish it could have worked, but maybe its not for everyone, ie me?

High TPO antibodies.
Cannot get anywhere with this - I am taking
iron
now as my
iron
levels were a little low, I also have 3 or 4 brazil nuts every day as many years ago I think someone told me it was a good idea for the selenium.
