Advice on blood results
Hello - thank you to this community I am much more informed about thyroid issues and role of vitamins in its function. In Oct I had to remove my thyroid because of cancer and started 120mcg Levo, increased to 150 in December. My latest results are: TSH 0.04 (0.4 -4) - surgeon wants surpressed T4 22.3

It’s not just what you eat, but the time of day you eat it
This is the title of an article in the Washington Post today. For the life of me I can't figure out how to share it, but someone else might be able to, hopefully. The article says to finish meals earlier in the day. "This pattern of eating aligns with our circadian rhythms, the innate 24-hour clock

Feeling fed up!
Hi I have Vit B injections every 6 weeks. The last one left a nasty large bruise and felt no affects from having it. In fact I was ill over Christmas , now on antibiotics for a UTI and I think I have a double ear infection. I am 51 and asked the GP if the possibility of the menopause may have an

BLOOD PRESSURE DROPS ON LEVOTHYROXINE
Hi there everyone! Just wondering if any of you peeps out there have had experience of major blood pressure swings on levothyroxine. Mine has a tendency to be really low generally and at times so much so that I feel like I'm falling. Doctor has referred me to heart specialist, but if I increase my levothyroxine

RLS during in the morning and during the day when trying to take a nap?
Dear everyone here, fellow RLS sufferers, I am so grateful for this forum, I am on it daily to see what else can help my mother. First time I was here because she suffered badly from RLS which worsened a lot after hip replacement. And she was on 900 mg Neurontin and 0.0375 mg of Pramipexole that time

Accrufer (Cedric maltol)
Has anyone had any experience with Accrufer. From the little I've found, it appears to be an improvement over the otc pills, and might avoid the side effects of iron injections or infusions?

Never mind the adrenals, what about vitamin D?
Following my last post about trying to coax the adrenals out of their deep slumber and trying to stop Celcoxib, I saw the endocrinologist last week. Good and bad news - good to see ESR and CRP at the lowest levels for many years, but Bad - sub clinical hypothyroidism, looks like I have an underactive

when will I start feeling better?
hi all. Have been injecting daily with methylcobalamin for 2 months as well as taking liquid iron. I’ve heard people say it takes “a while “ to start feeling better, just wondering how long we are talking. I need my daily dizziness to go away or know if it’s not being caused by anemia. Thanks!

Tapering off Pramipexole
I am currently trying to taper off Pramipexole as I have been taking them for about 10 years however I reduced from three .125mg pills down to two pills about 2 years ago without any negative side effects once I read about augmentation. I went to my doctor 2 weeks ago to ask about weaning from Pramipexole
